B-game suggestions?

You know, there is no law stating that you have to leave your home at your 18th birthday.

EDT:
Or did you faint just on the thought that he and his father have the same name (or rather VERY similar names) and thus sometimes one of them opens incidentally the packages of the other one because it isn't obvious who was the desired recipient exactly?
In that case: BINGO!

My parents are informed about these games. I told them about it. And they accept it, though it’s still a bit embarassing when I’m playing a bishoujo game, and they have to see me playing just when there’s nudity on the screen. Oh well, I can live with it.

Though, I buy my bishoujo games at my local manga shop.

…Except for old games that I bought over the net, of course. Heh.

You've got me all wrong. Actually I was surprised because Nandemonai seems to be younger than I thought he was. I didn't mean to imply that he was under 18...well okay, maybe I did. But not seriously. I should say that (from what I've seen) he seems wise beyond his apparent age.

Don’t be fooled!! Nand is actually a 80 year old sage living in the mountains giving us bishoujo advice

He just want’s us to believe he’s a little kid.

They got DSL/cable in the mountains now as well? Damn, technology moves fast…

I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that? Could you repeat that three or four times?

;)

In all seriousness (yes, all five minutes' worth) I am 24. I live in my parents' basement because they let me; I have no shame, and if it's cheaper -- why not?

Hmm…maybe not so much younger than I thought, then. I was thinking 27-28.

You’re preaching to the choir. The difference is I actually am a lazy bum.

I like Season of Sakura cause of it’s lighthearted setting and the character doesn’t seem like a sicko. Plus multiple endings. But I didn’t like X-Change that much cause I thought the story sucked and the CG’s were ok at best. But just curious about the sequel cause I heard it’s a lot longer and better.

Question that differs from original subject: What size of boxes do games come in? The small ones that mainstream games coming out in US recently? And where the hell should I hide my games when I get them? If my mother saw them she would freak not to mention my other reletives and I’d be hearing “(Me) I know you are an adult now but you have a real problem and we’d like to TALK!!!” They’d all think I was some weird sicko…ah.

So true, id rather pay my parents cash to rent then give the cash away to a stranger who knows landlord :P

Nandemonai the games you mention particularly Come see me tonight 1-2 and Do you like horny bunnys 1-2 seem boring. I heard there story is linier and extremly easy. I like games with Story coming in 1st followed closly by the CG.

The games come in DVD-style packaging, like a PS2 game.

It seems kind of strange that you now say that you didn’t like X-change, but in your first post you gave it a 7. X-change 2 is more of the same, but done a little better. If you didn’t like X-change, I wouldn’t recommend it.

When I first got Kana, I tried burning it as a CD-image to my computer. Needless to say I ran into a little something called copy protection. Maybe a more resourceful person could get around it, but I couldn’t (hey, there’s nothing wrong with trying to store a legitimate copy in a different format). I ended up pitching the incriminating DVD case and manual and stored the CD in a generic CD case. I threw this in with the rest of my “regular” games, the operating principle being that no one would expect to find such a thing in such an obvious place. If they caught a glimpse of it they would just assume it was just another game. Well, unless they paused and saw the white highlighted caption screaming “uncensored.” I’m fairly sure my little brother wouldn’t have a clue what that means, but my parents… Anyway, I tried to cover it up with a small sticky label cut from one of those sticky pads everyone has lying around the house. Yeah…don’t do that. It came off inside my CD-ROM, and now my CD-ROM occasionally has random read errors sweat drop.

To make a long story short, try discarding the give-away packaging and store your b-games with your other games. Buy some generic CD-cases (they’re cheap), and if necessary slip a piece of paper into the jacket and label it something dull like “Windows XP System Recovery” or “Break in Case of Emergency.” You and your friends are probably the only ones that would ever dig through there, and your friends aren’t likely to open the case if it doesn’t look like a game.

Well, you gave X-change a 7, implying you liked it. So Nandemonai recommended some games that your typical X-change fan would like. I avoid this sort of confusion by not recommending bad games in the first place. Yes guess I stepped into that one. I was just thinking of some games I played before and I rated that game to high. I’ll have to review my stuff more carefully before I post.

X-Change 2 was created at the same time as Tokimeki Check-In, by the same company…so if you’re foregoing TCI solely because of the art, then you may give that some thought. (Personally, I found XC2 quite tedious in terms of storytelling, while I’ve played through TCI half a dozen times without once using the skip function.)

Thanks for all the replys on my subject I have finally decided on 4 games thus far.
1)Crescendo
2)Brave Soul
3)Snow Drop
4)Tokimeki Check-In

TOTAL COST= $143.84 (I’m near broke…voice in the back of my head “Must download B-games…must…” <–Well I won’t but it is tempting.

Still I have so many games I want to try like Private Nurse, Kana~Little Sister, Tottemo Pheromone, Gibo…I’m so sad~!! Also Little My Maid whenever it comes out.

That's better than the usual $200 for four games, no?

More like $175 cause SD is cheaper. I pay grudingly cause my moral bounds are streched rather thin, by temptations (e.g. pirated games) available. <-Still fighting the good fight with my evil half!

On a more serious note where do I find the patch for Brave Soul? I've looked on PP download section but all it has are wallpapers for the game.

Nevermind I found it under support link.

$275? I take it you meant $175.
