Exactly the way I felt when playing Princess Waltz. After two first playthrough (with Suzushiro and Lun Lun), the only thing that kept me returning was the epilogue (mentioned in this forum somewhere). I was lucky that I played Shizuka’s path the last, at least it had something different to read.
Still, Princess Waltz has a good story, among the best within my collection.
I’ve always wanted to ask this but what the heck is everyone’s major malfunction in this story? How exactly did Taichi end up so messed up in the first place? Not to mention his silver hair and glow in the dark eyes. Was all this a result of Youko getting him to murder those people in the Hasekura mansion?
Yes, for him it’s because of the slaughter; the eyes are because he was a lot of time in the dark when a baby
