Heh, well, sometimes you just need to find someone who speaks the language to learn those words.

Hmm, don't know any sites myself. Peter Payne-san's website has some pointers. And I know some of the others have recommended a few sites here and there. You might want to do a quick search through the BBS, or you could wait till someone with a better memory than me puts up a link or two.

Just for the record:

When I ordered NJStar for displaying japanese characters on my Win98, I ordered it in a bundle with the japanese wordprocessor NJWin. This wordprocessor contains a dictionary that contains most of these words.

Well, I started my own journey to the japanese language here: http://japanese.about.com/c/esntl.htm?PM=ss10_japanese . It teaches the hiragana, katakana, some grammar and a number of Kanji and might be a good place to start at . I'd also recommend you to get JWPce or NJWin that Unicorn suggested, Both of them are word proccessors and is a great help when palying a bishoujop game! However, a word of warning reagard the word processor: don't depend too much on them. You see, the danger about using those (a anger that I quite recently realized that I'm in), and translating a lot of words and kanji, is that you may easily forget them just as soon as you've translated them, unless you've got a very good memory, so put some work into memorizing the words you learn from the word processor!

. The "dirty words" you mean? Well, some of us could probably tell you about them, at least some of them, if you ask

Thanks so much for the pointers guys! I guess learning a new language will be full of “character-building” goodness anyway. =)

There are also a couple of foreign language books out there, that teach the “real” Japanese. The everyday street lingo. Although, not everyday, I looked through one of those books, and I gotta tell you, you just know some of those phrases hardly, if ever, get used.
