Yes, it is very interesting. I really believe that each country has its only “kokiuminsei” as the Japanese, say, its “national personality.” Italy, Germany, America, Britan… A list of little things that people from that country generally share. America has its silly Puritan values, work too much, be ashamed of sex, embrace the “pioneer spirit” and danger and guns as good, and so on. In Germany it’s a different list of things. In Japan, of course, there are many quirks and oddities that add up to a list of factors that describe the Japanese.
