I am not defending incest, but there is questionable grounds (even within the real scientific world about the true effects first generation anyway) maybe not for family but non brother sister relations. Anyway, I think they were both interesting, and I think many of the games in the past have had hints of incest that turn out to not be what it seems, none I will mention here for fear of spoilers but at least three jump to mind right away where you go through thinking it might be incest and suddenly realize it is not what it seems.
Also being related and being blood related are different things too, though some agencies might disagree.
