Well, it's the same with me, at least if the board permits it. For example, I had to change to Unicorn4711 at the Yahoo renai-forum because simply Unicorn was already spoken for another user.
But at the Lemma-forum, I am also registered as Unicorn.
However, I remained a lurker in both forums after I have registered because I had in either place no reason to speak up yet...
