I may be adding two plus two to get four with this thought but I wish to put it out there and perhaps someone with more knowledge could be helpful or just tell me how viable or improbable it is.
The first two: I recently purchased a new cellphone to replace my old one. The Razor phone had available, once set up, several games with some being fairly good and inexpensive to download directly to it…then I thought…
The second two: Japan, from my understanding, has probably the biggest cellphone culture in the world or close to it. Perhaps since they also excel in such phone technology and bishoujo gaming I wonder if they download visual novels and/or small bishoujo games on theirs…
The unknowns to get four: I have no idea what coding is used for these games…conventional wisdom says it is probably simplistic due to some size parameters…but the LCD quality on this phone is pretty good so… I don’t know if they do indeed make such things for cellphone use or if that is culturally a taboo there (I would doubt it.) Translation and cost to keep it cheap and profitable enough…that is probably the biggest “no go” part of the equation for the English market.
So, am I really off the mark for this or is there a Viper Paradise (pair-ah-dice for those that dislike it) game available for cellphone download anywhere? Or has Mr. Payne not taken over a small niche in that market yet?
