Well, I know some other games that has depressive endings like Eve Burst Error and Desire
It is pretty common with anime that series or movies don 't have a good end (Hokuto no Ken, …) I am happy bishojo games do not have always a good end
I prefer bittersweet endings. Neither too happy, nor too sad.

And too many people died in both games, and then Marltina that got stuck again in that spiral (man I really love that song of the second spiral !!!)

I also think the spiral is broken, because the last thing I could remember is Tina’s name changed in the end . Just thinking about this game makes me cry (sniff, sniff).

Artbooks are quite expensive, that 's why I I wanted the artbooks of Berserk only but if I could get my hands on some bishojo games 's artbooks …

To answer the original question, yes they do have games with happy endings, even for games like MEM and Kyouhaku.
AIL also made a renai game that I thought was really good, called “Ruri Iro no Yuki”. The remake is well worth playing (Shin Ruri Iro no Yuki)

Anyways, I get confused about ages so much in games and manga since characters are getting "aged" to 18 all the time. So suddenly, all the young characters are 18 which means the older characters need to be aged a bit more themselves. And when you throw in original Japanese voices and you can hear them say things like "I'm 16", well, after a point I'm just thinking "female, legal". And for the most part, there really aren't that many older characters in the first place that are old before and after the edit. (Michelle in Gloria does come to mind though.)
Actually, even being in an "authority" position doesn't necessarily mean "older character" in my mind anymore. Especially after my last visit to my high school when I met two teachers who were younger than I was! They were only about 4 or 5 years older than the kids they were teaching!
That being said, I guess I do prefer younger characters. Make sense, since I'm in training to be a "dirty old man". Might as well start now! [img]http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/biggrin.gif[/img]
Really if you think about it, the loop still exists… because when Al and Tina are sitting against the wall in the end animation sequence, the scientist looking guy they run into is Martina’s Ex-husband.

Uh, sorry, sometimes I just got to let it out. Well, there’s always a little confusion between terms. Anytime one language is translated into another, more often than not, there’s going to be some phrases and terms that end up being a “more or less” translations.
And stop ruining it for me…I still havn’t gotten around to getting myself a copy of Desire. Oh wait, but maybe if I go into a time loop, I can go back and not read about the time loop…okay, I think I just sprained my brain…
