Am I the only one who wants more simulations?

I was just wondering if i am the only one who wants to see more maid and raising simulations translated to english?

i was glancing thru shop.himeya.com’s selection of japanese games and saw tons of sims i’d love to see translated

for example, Maid Final, Gakuen Ojyosama Kitan, Inner Palace, Koisuru Oukoku, Fifth, Castle Fantasia Elensia War Record, and My Fair Angel are just some of the titles I liked the look of!

does anyone else want more simulations translated?

Hello, ladyphoenix!

I'm speaking for my fiancÈ though, he loves these kinds of games. He can't even stop talking about them.

We're also wondering where we should go purchase. I'm also looking for more titles to also give as Christmas presents to our friends.

raises her hand lol

I prefere non-simulating games

Yeah, I do. Particularly more maid rasing simulations like Maid Final.

Hmmm well with Peach Princess's current line up of games, I still don't think they have covered a real simulation. Of course they have there reasons but most of Peach Princess's bishoujo games are coming from Will right, so how would you expect Peach Princess to come up with a simulation if Will hasn't even made one yet, I think the main factor that people do keep forgeting is that the English bishoujo gaming market is such a small one that it makes it really hard if not impossible to get any of the games we would like to see translated, So until the bishoujo gaming market has grown into some greater more respectable size we really can't expect to much at the mommet

Well, that's what Kumiko has been saying all along, right? That no matter how badly we want some of the bishoujo games in Japan, they won't be released in english before the bishoujo games market is more successful than it is now... and that menas that we'll have to work hard to make the genre more successful! Huh? Why? I myself, I like both, but it's sometimes more fun to play simulation-games, since, well... in those games, you have to be more careful with what you're doing than in non-simulating games, because of the simulation meters... every of those is affected by your actions, and those also decides if some events are going to take place or not and how the game will end...

Will has made genuine simulation games, just as Kumiko mentioned - but it might not be simulating only romance, since they have sex slave simulators in their lineup. But LMM and Dorei Ichiba (Slave Bazaar) both have simple simulation elements, too. Dokusen is more complex, though, and really is a combination love story / sex slave simulator.

But there's a small difference between the whole "slave-thing" in LMM and Slave Bazaar... in LMM, the girls are placed at your disposal and you may treat them as you wish, but they aren't your slaves unlike the girls in Slave Bazaar. Am I wrong about this?

I do. I always wanted to buy a legitmate copy of Princess Maker 2. Shame the company went under and the rights are tied up.

I would love it if Peach Princess have this category of game in their arsenal of games !

I don’t know, you have to be pretty careful in non-simulation games too. What you probably mean is the gauges are more visible means of feedback of what you’re doing right or wrong.

I think that there's only a very few of that particular kind of simulation game out in the English market right now. And most of the ones that are available seem to be pretty bad. I would really love playing an English translated game of one of the better games out there. But I prefer non-violent themes, so something like My Fair Angel is more to my liking.

heh, I've been waiting for a topic like this to show up.

First, I'd like to say that I enjoy simulation games in general, be it True Love or Sim City 2000. But I have to say that I disagree with sex-slave simulation type games. I just don't like the fundemntal aspect of those games ----> making the girls into sluts.
The only game that I played from that genre was Maid's Story. It got to be very repetitive and I was bored very quickly.

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to support PeaPri as much as possible and buy Slave Bazaar.

Well, don't think of it as "making the girls into sluts", think of it as "making the girls very good at sex" instead

No - the girls in LMM are maids and you can treat them however you wish... anyway you wish at all. They may be dressed as maids, but they are basically your slaves - the only difference is a matter of setting, title, costumes, etc, not actual behavior or treatment possible. A maid is a servant - a slave is a servant. Same thing, at least from a storyline perspective.

Dokusen is different because it is truly a sex slave training simulation coupled with a well-done love story. The sim aspect of LMM and SB is much simpler and less of a focal point or driving force of the gameplay than in Dokusen - SB and LMM are not really intended or marketed as "sims" but Dokusen most certainly is. That's the biggest difference.

I see, but still... a slave is, from my point of view, a "owned" servant, a maid is not (at least not in this day and age... I hope )

Hm, but if LMM and Slave Bazaar aren't intended as sims, then why include sims-elements in both of these? To make the game more fun??
