Also in this game, in countering enemies, you WILL NOT encounter monsters or bandits like the conventional RPG Games. Instead, you WILL encounter babes. And they are pretty, some r hot. When you have 'kill' them, they not gonna die like all the enemies in RPG. Instead, they all will get naked and then ran off. Now, how about that for a bishoujo game?

Heh, heh, it's the style from his maker, Zone. All his RPG-games are like that.
Check "Avaron" and his other games too. They are so funny!

Check the web page.

I got a demo-cd of "Guren Tensho -Rasetsu-" as a small gift with my last order from Himeya and directly had to add it to my wanna-buy-list.

(Yes, Spec-san, this is the RPG besides MaW2, that has stirred my curiosity lately.)

I heard it was a remake of their old "Guren" game. Anyone has details?
(note to Beholder, if you're into RPGs, I'm presently playing to one: "Ikusa Megami2"; for details, go in the chat! )

Well, that will take some time. It has not yet highest order-priority, but let's see...

BTW what type of demo was it?

2 different demo-movies and a playable demo that demonstrates the story-part as well as the fighting system and the new dungeon-mode.

Ah, the new Guren games. From what I’ve managed to decipher, “Guren Tensho -Shura-” is the actual remake, and “Guren Tensho -Rasetsu-” is an add-on/sequel (something along the lines of “Baldur’s Gate: The Throne of Baal”).

Hard to do when I'll not have access to the chat for quite some time ~_~.

Aha . Ah, when an english fan try a Japanese game for the first time, it's for the most part an RPG, it seems .

Huh?
I have yet only one japanese RPG in my collection and you know very well, which one that is.

My very first order of japanese games consisted of:

Gakuen oujousama Kitan (ADV/SIM)
Dokusen (no RPG either)
Sho-Ki (NVL/Mahjan)

Hey! Unicorn! When you have played "Gakuen oujousama Kitan", tell me how it was! Because I had that game laying somewhere and bought it somewhat out of a whim (i.e. without truly reading any review of it), so... I wondered if it was a good buy. Well, I played it, but only twice from the beginning to differnt endings. Also, I have improved my japanese since then quite a bit. So I think, I have to play it again some more times now in order to give you more accurate information.

I played it again last weekend in order to answer this question a little bit better:
It's not a bad buy, but probably not quite your taste. At least, it doesn't fit well with my imagination of "ren'ai". On top of being not quite ren'ai, the game is also quite yuri instead (the main character is female and interested in girls only).

The graphics and music are nice, the costume-design reminds of the times of french revolution.
The sim-(RPG?-)part of the game let's you build up the characters attributes of the main character as well as her helper's values.
The story contains some mysteries to uncover (especially the relationship between Sae and Kagami holds some secrets, she herself isn't quite aware at the beginning of the story).

Speaking of C'S-games: You might already know it, but I just realized this weekend: The character designs and artworks in "Sko-Ki" are made by CARNELIAN. Wasn't it you, who was a dedicated fan of him?
(At least, I would understand it now...)

Bah, I bought it out of a whim, so... ^^;;;;
It's very low on my priority list anyway, so I'll probably never get to play it!

Yep, it's me. And, yeah, CARNELIAN worked for C's Ware for some titles: Sho-Ki, Re-Leaf, EVE ZERO -ark of the matter-. Also worked for ACTRESS, evolution, light, PIL/STONEHEADS, MINA, ROOT... You can see some of his works on his trading cards collection and his artbook.

I feared, that would stir some confusion, but I didn't thought it would already arise from you. The main character is called "Mikado Sae" and her sidekick is called "Kagami".

[ S P O I L E R ] However, "Kagami" is not just a name, but also a hint... [/S P O I L E R ]

I don't really understand how a "mirror" could be a hint

Explaining this would cross the line between "slight spoiler" and "heavy spoiler". If you really want to know this, I am going to explain it to you in my next email, but not here spoiling that game's secrets to everybody.

Sure, sure . Did you send a mail to me yesterday or earlier, BTW? couldn't find any mail from you there today, and you usually reply as quickly as you can...
