See thereās this not-so-secret personal project Iām working on - SOL Invictus - (hehā¦ doing a Google search wonāt get ya anything), thatās sucking every ounce of free time I have. I can promise it will be worth the surprise, but canāt exactly state when I can officially present it. I wanna have a playable demo on the official launch, but the artists donāt like deadlines you seeā¦ :o

Well, the twin part, anyway. Little bird says this game is going to be non-18+ ;_;
The project was always planned to be non-h from the beginning. Reason being: my idea was to access as large an audience as realistically possible, which included mature young adults. It would also prove more difficult to hire an artist and composer, if the title included sex, because some people are more sensitive than others on the topic. Lastly, it would make things easier to ānegotiateā lower than usual commission prices.
You see the ultimate plan is to create a commercial quality renāai thatās 100% free to download and not in danger of copyright violations. However the project itself isnāt costless to produce and paid out of pocket. So to keep costs down, I went around sites like DeviantArt and OCRemix, to find talent thatās equal to the professionals Ā¬Ć± but didnāt charge those kinds of prices. Still expensive though, because great art and music isnāt cheap. The people who signed aboard gave me a tremendous discount because: they love renāai too, Iām not turning a profit on the project, and they can proudly cite the final product in a job portfolio to a prospective employerĀ¬Ć and obviously non-h is better for the last part.
What do I get out of it? Warm fuzzy feelingā¦ my name in Internet lightsā¦ evidence to show that non-hentai renāai can be done right by westernersā¦ ideal twins. :o

MinDeaD BlooD Complete Edition. I guess thereāll be a mention of it on Black Cycās homepage as well. Presumably it just contains the original + fandisc, without any additional extra content (at least, one hopes that is the case - itās already been through a DVD version, a Hinakin Box re-release, a DVD Special Edition re-release, a dlsales release, and now this. :P).
Edit: Full details are here. I guess they really should have included all of this back in 2006 when they released the DVD version. As good as MinDead is, for me this is a pass as Iāve already got the original + fandisc, plus some of the extras via the Hinakin Box, and Iād rather have a new full price eroge than something with a few hours of original content + added voices.
I love MDBā¦ one of the best eroge Iāve ever played. But again!? Christ BCycā¦ how about working on MDB2 or something? I already have the soundtracks: got 'em in the original CD version (disc 2). Theyāre milking this cow hardā¦ and IMHO, cheapening the brandname by doing it.
I got the original MDB, because it was awesome.
I got the original fandisc, because it continued the awesome.
I got the DVD remake because I wanted to hear 100% voice acting.
I got the Hinakin Box for the extras.
I got the download, because I wanted to support Cycās digital store venture.
Iām supposed to get this because you drew a new box cover (admittedly the artist has become more epic in his skillz)?
Iāve got enough MDB. If itās not in English, or a totally new entry in the series, Iām not getting another one.

As I mentioned previously, Iāve decided to save $$$ in getting this title, because it adds 100% voice actingā¦ and Iām a sucker for that. I know most others will pass, and I can clearly understand why. I decided to resurrect an old thread, because of what else the renewal has: new CGās and another ending. The artwork on the MindeaD BlooD DVD box cover, indicated what the new ending was for that release: a true end for Shizuru + Yuka. Previously the other true ends were for Shizuru + Sakiā¦ one with more Shizuru than the other.
First though off my mind: this should have been what the first DVD renewal was. I know people were upset on 2chan, when they learned it wasnāt incorporating the cut fandisc material. Second thought: they should integrate the fandisc routes, so it makes a complete game, rather than two individual installations (I doubt that will be the case). Iām assuming that a new ending, means a new New Wave Of Death Neko Metal vocal.
Iām really intrigued at what this new ending will be. If the cover art is any indication, it might be an evil end, without the lovely throne room attendants. Vampire Road was the only ātrueā scenario on the fandiscā¦ all the others were like āreally shortened leftoversā for routes that were toyed with, but never would happen. Hoping the added CGās means that either thereās going to be a new scenario thatās just as long as Vampire Road. Perhaps even bring closure, and explain about the mysterious True Vampire and/or origin of the Blood Tree. It be even better if they fully integrated the fandisc into the main game, so it becomes the ārealā MinDeaD BlooD experienceā¦ but I doubt BCyc will got that far. After all, they could milk a future renewal 3 or 4 years from now, that does exactly that. :roll:
However I liked the fandiscā¦ the Vampire Road ending was clearly my favorite (the execution of timing the music to the screen was awesome). So 100% voice acting has sold me to give it another shot. Stillā¦ Iād be lying if I said I was excited about this, as I was about the first DVD renewal.
We are seriously overdue for a MinDeaD BlooD 2ā¦
shame we will probably never see it translated.

Pretty much. However since the entire collection is now voice acted, itās that much easier to use it as a basis to learn Japanese. 
The new MDB is up on Erogeshop, I am preordering it now.
Between this, the Cthulu fan disk (yeah Iām an idiot), Mahoutsukai no Yoru, Umineko Chiru 3, and the upcoming english release of Koihime Musou, Demonbane, and Zaishuu, my wallet will be begging for death at the end of September.
OP for Great Hunting is out. Songās kind of disappointing, and Iām also a bit concerned about the number of images from the original that are recycled in the video. I suppose Iāll consider it if it gets good reviews and they put it on dlsite - otherwise itās a pass.

Yeaā¦ the song starts out good at first, but it quickly goes down hill after the first few verses. Poor choice of singer me thinks; more-so since sheās drowning out the instrumentals so loudly. IDKā¦ it just sounds soā¦ minimalistā¦ if such a thing could be applied to this style of musicā¦
