Bishoujo Architecture?

since i have a bachelor of architecture degree, a japanese friend showed me this…

basically there is going to be an architecture forum in venice next month and some guy’s gonna exhibit some otaku architecture

anybody here living in italy who might go take alook?

Errrr, if that model would be really built in full-scale (the Zeppelin behind the shoulder gives me a hint how big that would be) we would probably not have to worry about visitors/invaders from outer space anymore:

They would be scared away by the fear that human madness could be contagious…

Venezia is nothing more than a (very costly) tourist trap (and gifted with a Communist mayor, too…), but I must admit that the topic is exotic. Besides, the city is located on the extreme limit of my “EDIT: you are not cleared for that!” area (I live “EDIT: FNORD!”;-knows the place, someone?-).
However, I can’t promise nothing.
What you would like to know/receive, exactly?

ya venezia is a tourist trap, i dont have much interest in that place when i lived in firenze for half a year a few years ago…to make things worse it was pouring rain when i went to venice

i just wanna see what the exhibit itself is like, just curious that’s all, no need to force yourself to go, and plus i doubt they will let u take pictures anyways

Could someone explain to me what this thread is about, please? I don’t understand.

Basically, Otaku architecture means the influence of manga/anime/erogame lovers even in the Japanese urban development. The Tokio's commercial district of Akihabara, for example, is today almost entirely devoted to these persons/clients, selling them tons of discounted erogames (among other similar, "cultural", goods), and turning itself, even architectonically, into a true erogame Mecca (although conserving certain "relics of the past", like an elementary school, for example -I'm truly envious of THOSE children...-).
I leave Zeppelin's clarification to Unicorn and Woodelf...
