Interesting article.

Of course you told to him about story-focused bgames too, right?

To know about the existence of non-H bgames is essencial, too.

Interesting article. Hope you told the guy about the classic ones like Crescendo, Critical Point, Figures of Happiness, and Private Nurse (and for the non-adult ones Hourglass of Summer and Phantom of Inferno), no one should miss those (not to mention Crescendo’s (in my opinion) perfect for a Valentine themed article).

I think this quote from that article says it best:

quote:
For now, the limited popularity of bishoujo games in the US is a mixed blessing. It keeps it under the radar enough so that they can be sold but not popular enough to warrant expensive English dubbing or a wider selection.

It may always be a niche here with the cultural differences. But to those open minded enough, it certainly is a nice niche to be in.

I thought it was a good article. The man made it a point too to say that the games have stories. While he didn’t say that there are story-focused ones because of the selection of games he got, it’s better than the usual critique these games’ stories get.

I don’t know where to put this question so this topic is current, maybe someone can answer it (I dislike just “making” new folders on this BBS for simple questions.)

Has anyone played or heard of “Ui-chan no Nizuma Diary”? The only mention of it I have found is old ones in this BBS and they don’t provide much. Main reason I am curious is because of this.

Please forgive me, I am not attempting to advertise for someone else. Just thought that someone here could answer since it is bishouja-related.
