Bishoujo games in the UK

Hi everyone. This is my first post and I was wondering if anyone from the UK on this board (assuming there are some people from the UK) have had any problems with getting bishoujo games through customs. I am thinking about buying Casual Romance Club, but I can’t really afford to if there is a very high chance of it getting seized. Thanks

yo fellow Brit, im from UK (south birmingham)

if ur ordering from himeya soft then no since it’ll be a SMALL package unless ur gunna buy a JP PS2 or NGC/XboX

i ordered Men At Work 1 from em an only paied 25quid, pitty the rest cost 40quid + 2.50quid shipping,

BTW Casual Romance Club is a VERY good dating sim its worth the overkill on the wallet, im tempted to buy it with in a few months,

bah~ i wish i had a job i’d buy now ~_~

Comfort yourslef with the throught of that you're not the only one who feels that way ~_~. What would i not be able to buy if I only had a job... fortunately, I have a summer job that will give me some money, but those money will most likely go to buying a new computer, not to buy new games...

Thanks for the advice. We live in a similar area of the world.
I live in Sutton Coldfield, not far from B’Ham.
I know what you mean about getting a job, I’m trying to find one at the moment. There are too many things screaming “Buy Me!”

Too true, far too many things are screaming the same thing to me... But unfortunately I can only tell those things "Sorry, not this time"

Of course if you do have a full time job. You do know you have less time to play the games. (Assuming you want to keep the job.)

Is Casual Romance Club a small packaged game? I order my over two months ago and hasn;t arrived. (Of course I live in Australia now) They did say they will mail it again.

Is it using EMS shipping worth the money, or is normal airmail ok?

EMS is handy but i usually dont bother ^^ (now i'll regret saying that) stuff usually arrives exactly 1 week from date of order which is what im impressed about, if ur ultra paranoid go for EMS if not jus "order & forget" like i do

It's a standard-size box for a japanese game. So, it's bigger than the normal localized games from PeaPri or G-Collections (they are usually shipped in CD-cases), but not that big that it takes an entire plane to bring it over.

I also think that Australia is closer to japan than most other countries, so I think that two months are somewhat suspicious. I recall some earlier discussions that australian customs is sometimes quite nasty, so it might have gone lost that way.

like i said “lost” most times it’s stolen, we used to have the same problem here in the UK then it got squashed out (not totally as it still happens occationally)

sad really…

*blink* Er, sorry. Just trying to imaging a game that would require an entire plane to bring over. I'm guessing that would include some pretty cool omake in the packaging...

Come to think of it, I think out of all the international packages I've ever received, only three were ever opened and inspected by customs. I was only worried on one since it was probably borderline questionable but since nobody in black suits have showed up at my doorstep, I'm guessing it was alright...

How about an EVANGELION-Ichi-go-ki garage-kit in scale 1:17?

1:17 would still be the size of a school bus, at least. Try 1:170 and I _might_ believe it exists.

Heh, guess it would depend on the plane. Whether we’re talking about a little corporate jet, a commercial airliners or a big old honking cargo plane…

Hey
iv bought several games from US companies including PP.

i’v had no problems with custom siezing but i have heen hit by import duties at a bought ¬£7 for every ¬£30 worth of goods
