I would like to see it ported over too, BUT I remember it being stated it might be OVER a year until Pea Pri even gets to it no matter what we want. Only so much can get done and it looks like a full plate of stuff is already on tap. I mean they may be able to adjust the scedule somewhat but as i said it was already stated it is atleast a year away . IF this can be expedited sO much the

(also… even if they begin translatig this game first… i’m sure that this will be the last of being released… cause they will be working on it aside from the other titles that have an easier script… that’s what happened with LMM…)
That was really evil and cruel to include the Brave Soul demo movie in the Tokimeki Check-in discs. Just makes me realize how much I really want to play this game.
Question : are the animated sequences peppered throughout the game (like EVE burst error), or just in the intro movie to the game (like Words Worth)?
I also have another Question : would Marine’s name be pronounced (Mah-reen) or (Mah-ree-nuh)?
Brave Soul is interst to me because this game are RPG, and I have pretty much all of the RPG game for PSII and dreamcast. If I got the Brave Soul from Peachprincess I will finish the game in maybe two or three days. I will play nonstop for that game.
You also have to play the game with all the girls because there’s also multiple endings depending on certain actions during the game.
It’s also dependent on who your Final Four are.

I have not read much of this trend, but if the purpose of the petition is what think it is, then I will wholeheartedly support an expedient release of “Brave Soul.” I will definitely place a pre-oreder request as soon as one is available from Peach Princess.

(…Doug’s sitting in a corner praying that he gets to see Brave Soul in English by 2003. The way some of the other posts on the BBS have been, He’s afraid he might never get to understand what Alicia, Carrol, Caren, Ruby, and Marine would say to Rudy in the game because the only way he might be able to play it is by getting the Japanese version. This depresses him to say the least. He’s also referring to himself in the third person and that bothers him as well. Sorry about being so negative, but Doug is concerned to say the least. Whether or not Doug (and everyone else) gets to play the game in English is up to each and every one of us. Doug is still holding out a slim hope that he might one day grace his computer with Brave Soul in English, but Doug is also a realist. Unless the state of the English Bishojo game industry changes a lot in the next 12 months (increased sales, stopping or curbing the piracy, etc.)

I watched the Brave Soul video on the Tokimeki Checkin CD and I’m so hyped! It looks awesome! I am a big fan of RPGs in general, especially action RPGs. Also, just from watching the video, the character designs are very good, at least i think so, and the graphics may not be super spiffy 3d or anything, but hey, i still play the japanese final fanatasy 2 for NES and that has cruddy graphics. Graphics don’t make much of a difference to me, as long they aren’t ugly. I mean, they can be extremely simple like in the NES final fanatasy games, but I dont like games with graphics that look so ugly theyd be better off as deformed. Also, I tend to like the way the graphics look in Brave Soul more than I like 3d. Often times I wont play a game because it is 3D. Call my crazy but 2D sprites kick way more ass. I mean, it would be possible to make something just as good as 2D sprites using 3D, but so far no ones done it. I think this is why I got bored with most of the playstation Final Fanatasy games. The 3D graphics looked spiffy, but they had no life to them, and made the character look stiff and lifeless, like a statue. Well, I guess all I’m saying is that the day that you guys start taking pre orders for Brave Soul, Im going to buy it. Dont be surprised if my order is the first pre-order you get ^^; I dont care if it won’t be released for a long time, I WILL get it. And when I say I WILL get something, I always do. As for the issue of bishoujo games having a market in the US, there really isnt much of a market for most japanese anime/rpgs/bishoujo games in this country, but there definitely should be. I say we all do our best to promote it and try to get the word out about it, and maybe in a few years time it will become more popular, like anime has.

I got a copy of Brave Soul and it was exactly that a COPY. I bought it from (admin edit: a pirate) for $20. I thought it kind of odd that the game would go for that much when it goes for $80 or something at Himeya. The copy doesn’t even work though…so no Brave Soul for me. Lots of neat pics though…
