C-G's Virtual-Mate?

Does not sound promising you are right, and this is one of the main reasons people were against it of course, the need for the connection period, lack of easy of access, having to pay for each one etc.

Thanks for your concern all of you. I got it to work once I flushed my Cache, Cookies and History flushed away on my browser. It’s now gone. I still want to know if there’s a possible way to play this game mobile? who ever pasted my post on g-col site, please don’t do that without my permission and i would appriciate if you follow up on it

I see you registered an account just to make this post. Welcome to the club!

I'm surprised to hear that someone got a copy of LMMW already. Did you just walk over to GC's office to pick it up?

To answer your question, VM is working exactly the way it's supposed to. Even if your username/pw is remembered, at startup the VML has to verify the authenticity of your copy of LMMW. So you would have to be connected to the internet prior to starting up the game.

Yes, it's annoying, but the $10 discount is supposed to make up for the annoyance, according to GC.

If you're using a labtop, you'll have to be able to connect to the internet in order to launch the game properly.

No clue why but when you said this, and in that way this phrase came to mind "Apart from that Mrs Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"

I think it is because they are trying to say well sure it's a lot harder to play your games now and you cannot play offline, but other then that how's the discount? Okay, okay before anyone corrects me I know you technically play offline but you need to get online to play offline as illogical as that sounds.

@Teagan: If you don’t mind, would you tell us what you knew about V-mate when you bought your game? Are you visiting these forums for the first time? How does the game box/manual describe V-mate?

I’m just asking out of curiosity, since it’d be interesting to know what customers outside of these forums know about V-mate. You’re also the the first here who’s gotten the game.

Come on SCDawg…he’s got the game already, let’s try not to get him down about it.

I am not finding his situation amusing, I am just finding all of this perversely amusing at this point, especially since G-Collections has made no offical statements on their own site in some time, truly expected something today even a pat "we're working on many ideas" statement by this time. Especially some comment about the funny (illogical) notion of having to get online to play offline.

Anyway, that 'quote' just popped to mind and it was kind of fun to share it at this point.

Since you're the first person we've heard from who actually has the game, you're in a better position to tell us.

We've heard that you only need to be online when you start a game. If you start the game online and disconnect, does V-Mate let you continue playing? Can you save and load games without going online? Is it possible to suspend your PC while playing a game and resume at a later time without reconnecting? If you set your system clock ahead a year or more, does V-Mate stop trying to connect?

G-Collections hasn't provided answers for any of these questions, so it would be great if you could tell us!

SIC STANTIBUS REBUS, again it’s a BIG NO for me. Patch, patch!!!

And before that i***t of Mahoro starts blabbering around som’thing suspicious again, for Hitomi.

Anyway, i keep on scanning on pirates. Till today, apart of a single announcement and a *** request, still no sign. On day ONE, nothing to report from bad guys.

And i hope they will never do. Let’s not forget it’s THEIR fault G-Col felt the need to put VMate on their games in the first place.

Of course, we legal customers don’t need to suffer too. In other words, GIVE US DECENT SUPPORT AND A PATCH TOO!!!

P.S.: I’m dying to see the face of Shit Virgo now…

Sadly, I’m not counting on what you just said, Peter. It’s only a matter of time…

Probably so..
Whouldn't surprise me if the pirates get there crack out before GC answers our questions

You right Thomas…
One of them has ordered the game for sure…

And before that i***t of Mahoro starts blabbering around som’thing suspicious again, it’s not me because i’m not a pirate, just a pirates’ activities’ observer.

I'm back. And for those wondering where I was, I went to see a friend at a hospital this weekend. He has cancer, has a 6% chance of survival, and is estimated to have between 6 months to a year left to live. So I'm going to be rather cranky and surly for a bit. Thus, don't expect me to be talking much, as I'd prefer to not put out flames by dropping small tactical nuclear devices.

Now, pardon while I am going to be snappish at some people, but I think this might be the shirt for people who don't like the way things are.

Sorry to hear that, Vaga. Anyway i suggest you to get ready. I experienced on my live skin what cancer means - my grandma died of cancer twelve years ago; i was here in person when she died - and i can assure you it's going to deadly shattering your nerves. Be strong.

BTW when those doctors told 6%, it means 2% or so. Sorry.

Oh, i didn't like your joke at all. I think this shirt will be pretty popular amongst the army of former G-Coll customers soon.
Save your tactical devices for som'thing better.
