I am sure everyone is wondering and I didn’t see any info about it in any other posts. Whats the status of Peach Princess as a company? Is ownership staying the same? Is this similar to what happened to Himeya when they closed down their US shop? What are the chances that Gibo, Brave Soul, and LMM will make release? If you have to is it possible to release Gibo, Brave Soul and LMM without uncensored graphics to save time and cost? The news that Kumiko and Dave are leaving leaves me wondering… Can you please tell us what you can?
That didn’t really answer anything ;P. I understand if you cannot comment on the company’s financial status, but you should at least be able to answer if ownership has changed. Can’t you at least give a couple details. I mean basically all that I have heard is “Peach Princess is moving to a different Location. Kumiko and Dave E will be leaving by the end of May/June.” Thats it, that leaves a TON of questions and no one seems to want to give any answers. I have been around since you guys started and have purchased every one of your games. I would just like to know whats going on? Thanks

Like Woodelf-san says, I'm going to assume that PeaPri is still open for business and I'll keep supporting them and the bishoujo genre as much as possible. Yeah, I'm a bit curious but if Kumiko-san or any of the others can't or won't comment any further, I'll live with that. Sometimes even such a thing as an ownership change can be a touchy subject that can't be discussed. For instance, when the company my dad works for changed ownership a few months back, nobody could say anything about the ownership change until the new owners officially announced it to the public. Beats me why, I'm guessing the new owners had some reason for this, but not like they were going to share that reason with me.
And besides, if nobody's saying anything, it doesn't necessarily means that something being hidden. It could be that everything still the same but opportunities for Dave E and Kumiko have come up that they couldn't pass up. Things happen, circumstances change, and we have to live with it.
Well I just hate not knowing whats going on and the game I have always wanted the MOST is Brave Soul. So now I am worried that it might not make a release. So any information is better than nothing. But if there is absolutely NOTHING you can say then I guess I’ll have to resign to waiting (Ugh!). I will just hope that when the news comes it will be good. crosses fingers.

i also really hope thet brave soul makes it to release…i think it may open some doors for the genre, being an RPG, which is a HUGE success in america…

Does this mean that suddenly, Little My Maid is no longer the top priority of Peach Princess, and that Gibo has taken that position instead??? But on j-list, they say that the release of Gibo have been moved to Fall 2002, instead of Spring 2002, so in that case, are they wrong? besides, from the look of things, it looks like Brave Soul is the closest of your games to completion, or am I totaly wrong?

Actually I was wondering why I ended up with a TCI image instead of Snow Drop myself. Only thing I can think of is that the other day my friend had asked me a question about something in the manual so the TCI image was probably just fresher in my head. From what I understand, LMM is still top priority but it just might take longer to accomplish. Like at my workplace, this government mandate is our top priority and is pulling almost every available resource but the sheer size and complexity of it means that several other lesser priority projects will still complete before it even on minimal resources.
