Actually Like LMM and Snow Drop,
White Angel is a very romantic and serious story. But made room for a Catgirl.
Its really all in the way the character acts and is drawn(IMO). Carnelian made his character look no sillier or serious than the other girls in the game.

Slayer: There is an RPG game with all Cat girls and Guys called Beast Breeders Burning
not too cute for me…just fun!

im not sure how to make that poll I have show the tally’s & the percentage, I’ll ask the guys who made it [ it’s not freeware ]

that’s a awesome looking H-gurl I love the ribbons on her. [ cute cat style ]

Beast Breeders is a pretty good game despite its age. (made in about 98) For cat girls the tail color usually matches the ears ^_^…
The CG are ok, but the gameplay is pretty good. It reminds me of Seven Hero’s story’s system in which you have to do a certain task to beat the level (ex; Defeat the boss, or Escape…most of these commands are in english)
For the first image you might want to just visit this page to see.

hum, seemed yall missed one of my questions.

How many pts [ points ] of damage do you think she inflicts?

humph!

[This message has been edited by ferior (edited 05-14-2001).]

either maybe both. hehe

Just noticing the bell collar, does that increase the cat-girl cuteness or does it add a different emotion to the cat-girls? more kind, cutesy, both?

then consider it defense, don’t you notice uni with the boxing gloves hehe

interesting how accessories add to the elements in the game

Here’s the cat girl I’m waiting for!!!

yup, it’s from brave soul.

While I do not believe that a cat-girl is good in every story, I do believe,as does miss Kumiko, that they can be used most successfully in a fantasy world setting(Brave Soul, Escaflowne) or as an alien species in a sci-fi setting(Outlaw Star).
But just remember that while they are cute and cuddly and mostly played for laughs, when a real cat get mad or angry they arch their back, bare their fangs, pop their claws and their hair stands on end as well as hiss and spits. Not a pretty sight on a cat-girl I would say. but the big thing about cat-girls that no one has said is "What if you are allergic to cat hair?."
Ah-choo!!!

hum, yeah, never read about anyone bringing that topic up.

what would happen if you were allergic to cats, would you care for catgirls. hum…

Well, if you can find a copy of Knights of Xentar by Megatech, there was a whole town of Cat girls in that game. That's the only other English Bishojo game that I know about.

The fun of translating Japanese to English, or vice-versa... the same thing happened to us in WC, by the way, with "Yurein." Her name really is romanized as "Yurein" literally - the script files are even spelled with a "Yu." But her name is supposed to be French-Canadian, evidently - so, it's spelled as "Julyne," probably to seem more "exotic" and "foreign" to the Japanese gamers.

The French "j" letter derived from the latin "j", where it is pronounced... like a "y" (or rather an "i", but English doesn't pronounce "i" as a short "y" [or rather "y" as a long "i"] ) before a vowel. For instance, "Julius" would be pronounce as "Yulius" (or rather "Iulius"...).
So the Japanese weren't completely wrong... ^_^

Funny thought! . Hmm... But, in Escaflowne, Merle behaved in that way you just decsribed towards Hitomi (well, her tail and hairs stood out.. but then, again, that was in SD-mode, so it still looked cute ) By the way... why is Marine caged in that cage?Is she like that when the main character first meets her?
