It’s easy to beat Angela - pick one or more of these three. (or for the fourth, equally good pick, see Lancer-X’s avatar) [Edit: Haru has already been taken, otherwise I’d probably have made a different choice. :P]
A non-ero galge is an eroge minus the ero (a ‘ge’, I suppose, but it refers to a specific form of ‘ge’, just as ‘eroge’ usually doesn’t imply Doom 3 with some sex scenes added =p)
You’ll have to assist, I’m afraid, I don’t know enough games.
Can you find me a girl who has:
Dark hair and pale skin. Any eye color, don’t care either way about glasses.
Breasts! Not enormous, not small either.
A clever girl. No tsundere, no yandere, no ditzes, no smoking, no murderous tendencies. Mad scientists okay as long as they’re not trying to KILL anyone with their creations.
Leans at least bisexual, for obvious reasons!
Cooking skills a plus.
Ability to inspire protective tendencies a plus.
Oh, and as a supplementary (fallback) waifu, in case Haru turns out to be unavailable, I couldn’t really go past Emi.
She’s a very different kind of heroine to Haru, though. Whereas Haru is instantly lovable (seriously, within the first few hours of playing G-Sen you’ll love her) Emi mostly strikes you as being weird. Not quirky like Haru is, but weird.
It takes the entire game (every route) to slowly reveal just how ridiculously awesome she is, and it’s impossible to explain anything in this regard without epic ever17-level spoilers. But she’s great.
She’s also my favourite imouto character as far as eroges go.
This is a very difficult question! I’m not sure that I’ve run in to a girl in any of the games in my collection that I would want to be my wife. Making this twice as hard is the fact that I’ve been single and out of the dating scene so long now that I’m not exactly sure what I am looking for in a woman. I know I’d prefer a Japanese woman, and I know she would need to be smart enough to keep up with me intellectually. The only other things I can think of is that I have no tolerance for drugs, smoking, or drinking in excess.
With eroges, I think you’ll find that they tend to be one extreme or another. I doubt any eroge heroines would be smart enough to keep up with you intellectually - ones like Haru (G-Senjou no Maou), Ima (Saihate no Ima) etc. would probably run circles around you intellectually*, and there’s no real middle ground =P
*the thing is that clever characters in eroges pretty much always have to be ridiculously clever, otherwise it doesn’t really make enough of an impact
I don’t think clever really factors in to things. (I’d probably be in trouble with a woman who is extremely clever.) I suppose what I mean is that, for example, I should be able to talk about such things as carbon nanotubes, buckyballs, and other scientific things and not get a blank stare back as a response.
