An Excellent preview. I liked that the preview gave you enough that you wanted to play the game, but not too much as to give it all away.

Heh! My copy of the TO HEART soundtrack just arrived from CD Japan today…
When this game (and other bishoujo games, for that matter) was ported to the PSX in “non-adult” form, what exactly was lost? Were there simply climactic sex scenes replaced with a kiss or holding hands or somesuch, or were there also dialogue and situations and images within the body of the game that were toned down for a younger audience?
I have to admit that I still feel a bit of a frisson every time an awkward love confession in TOKIMEKI CHECK-IN suddenly dives into a hardcore sequence…the integration into the story doesn’t feel quite so smooth as in SNOW DROP. But I suspect I would be happy to be able to play the TO HEART game in any form!
Can a domestic PS2 that’s modded for Japanese games also run Japanese PSX games?

This is an interesting point my anime club was debating the other day. Is Hiroyuki really a “minimalist” (as someone called him), or is he really oblivious to everything and simply deals with things as they come (an “improvisationalist”)? I certainly can’t say anything, seeing how I only watched the first half of the series (up to the 7th episode).
