Okay… I will pay two games (limited edition and english version).
O.K. I switched to the collector’s edition.
Mosaic doesn’t bother me that much and I can apply the credit to one of my other preorders. It’s a win,win situation.

There are a lot of "interior" things inside any program or software that the end user does not see - any programmer here will concur with this.
Well, this former programmer definitely agrees, one of the reasons I went into system administration.
Sigh, but here I go again, ordering even more things from PeaPri. Maybe I should start having my paychecks direct deposited to PeaPri instead.
Oh, what a hard choice!!! Hmm… somehow, I think I may end up buying both of them
I’ve sent an email to sales@peachprincess.com to have my order revised from the regular edition to the limited collector’s edition, need I do anything else? Will I get a confirmation back that the adjustment has been made?
It’s cool that we can get this choice
I think I’m going to still be getting the regular release english version… I still need to order Tokimeki Check-In first though
Well, I’m personally going to pick up both versions. Yes, I know it defeats the purpose of trying to see if I as a consumer prefer one format over the other but I am rather curious to see the untouched artwork versus the altered versions. But then again, I just get such a geeky thrill when any game gets translated to a point where I can understand what’s going on. (All those years of Japanese language classes and it still takes me a few minutes to figure out which option is ‘start new game’ and which is ‘load saved game’. )

Hmm, I know but I do want to see all the untouched/altered images, not just a few examples.

Oh, just to be clear, they are both in English. The only difference is the sex scenes being either original Japanese release or retouched for Western release - the rest of the game (menus, interface, script) is in English.
Hard to choices... I still think I would pay both of them.
I do know that offering all the images is unfeasable, that’s why I wanted to get both versions of the game so I can go through them all myself.
And sorry for the confusion for my earlier comment. When I said that I wanted to see all the ‘untouched/altered’, I meant that I wanted to see the all the pictures in their untouched and in their altered state (via the two different versions of the game). I know that they aren’t ‘untouched’ and ‘altered’ at the same time. (Sorry, my manager had just told me that I could cut out from work early and I was sorta in a rush to get out of there.)
Well, it’s good news! I’ll have my preorder changed asap… I only hope the offer is still valid (was on vacation for those past days, as X’mas has it ). I’ll have my copy sooner, for one thing!
BTW, Kumiko-chan, will you afterwards give us a ratio of how many LE was bought compared to how many normal edition, just for our information?

I wonder if glowing genital areas is a manifestation of extraordinary sexual prowess.

Actually, if you all would like to read between the lines…We can all show Peach Princess that if we buy enough of the Critical Point Limited Edition They will go ahead and license games where the original CG isn’t available for unmosaicing. (like Dokusen). It’s really important to show support for this Limited Edition of CP and I can’t stress how important this is if we want certain games to be brought over here. (Seeing as how they’re offering it at a better price point, how can you say no.)

You're right! Alright, everyone! Let's show our support for Peach Princess by buying the Collectors Edition!!!

This would also mean explaining the offer in other forums than just here - for example, perhaps Anime Nation, or Right Stuf.
speaking about Animenation, i just got in a debate with a guy who prefers the "uncensored" kind of bishoujo games instead - He does have some good points in his posts, but it doesn't seems like he has played any of Peach Princess's games yet - or even compared a original picture and an edited picture to each other. And it also seems clear that he is the "downloading" type of pirate, since he more or less recommends people to "download the stuff" instead of "buying the unworthy games for the ridiculously high prices"...
It happens a lot. Either densetsu doesn’t really moderate their reviews, or outright condones ripping games, I don’t know, but a lot of the reviews have a ‘buy value’ review criteria that is just downright despicable. Usually it’s two sides of one coin, either ‘don’t buy it’ or ‘rip it.’ Most reviews don’t even evaluate the content of the game other than ‘gameplay.’ I think gamers in this country just don’t appreciate excellent art and excellent stories. I can’t reiterate this enough, although my tongue is tired of flapping and my finger joints are starting to sore.
Anyways, we stray too far from this topic. I am fully in support of the limited collector’s edition for the following reasons:
1. I do play these games for the stories. Voices are a plus because I am a student of the Japanese language, and it imbues the games with even more expression than just story and art alone.
2. Over the course of the past few months, and after lots of research , I have come to the realization that the various techniques used to obscure the genitalia do not detract from the eroticism of the images.
3. Here’s my personal reason: lower price point. Yeah, I’m a cheapass. Luckily this benefits Peach Princess as much as it does me, they have more time to work on the games, I get my games quicker, and that means more reviews for my Bishoujo website project.
Limited Collector’s Edition, huh? Sounds like fun. I hope not limited quantity though.
any plans for a LMM limited edition?
hmmm…i really want to preorder all this neat stuff
but im at college, with unstable housing, and cant guarantee that i’ll have the same address by the time theyre released
any way to help that? maybe notify me a week before shipping to check?
