What can I say, Until Kana two of the three alone would have looked the same, and you know it's kind of cool to see how many people have Kana in their top 3 or 5 games.

Gotta love these fast filling threads…

Welcome ScorpioMysterica-san. Hmm, Divi Dead is definitely a good recommend if you like horror. Although I’ll admit I still don’t completely understand the story. (Some parts still confuse the heck out of me, but it’s been awhile since I’ve played.)

Kana’s always been terrific. G-Collections really scored when they had it as one of their initial titles. Gave them a great start. And saying that…

My top two are Snow Drop and Kana. My third choice is sort of pending. Started playing Crescendo last night and it may push it’s way to that third spot. I need to wait till after I finish it to be sure.

Pending??? Does that mean you only have 2 b-games ekylo??? Why don't you have a 3rd best game in you list??

Welcome, Scorpio, from another near-newbie to the boards Great to have you around!

And, um, it looks like the three games you’ve already played are my three favourites
Season of the Sakura, Kana Little Sister and Casual Romance Club… so no new recommendations for you there, I’m afraid

Tokimeki Check-In and (the fan-translation of) Mizuiro are also in my favourites.

But I’m very much looking forward to both Gunshield Warrior Sakigake (a strategy/tactical ren’ai game) and also Crescendo (so many people rate the story so well! Must find someone who’ll ship it to the UK…). And to getting some time to play the Gin’Iro CD I bought and have barely started

Thanks for the welcome.
Tokimeki Check-In... I know people are going to think I'm crazy, but that's another game that just didn't "click" with me. I mean, parts were OK, but it didn't entice me like the three mentioned did. Maybe I just don't do well with comedy? I dunno...

Snow Drop I liked too as I did True Love and the unofficial unreleased (shame on me) version of Princess Maker... Now that's a series I wouldn't mind seeing in English, but ah well win some loose some.

Thanks again for the welcome!

*sigh* Because I don't want to post a third game only to change it within two days. Snow Drop and Kana are always my top two and it'd take quite a bit to push them from those places in my list. Crescendo is good but not quite that good. But given what I've played of it so far, it may end up being the third but I won't know for sure until I actually finish playing it. If you really want to know what my third one is, search a bit through the threads. This isn't the first time we given out our personal top game lists.

welcome to the forums. As to my favorites in no particular order:

Cresendo
TCI
Chain

Kana is very good but I really don’t like sad stories which is why kana and private nurse while having a great story won’t be on my favorites.

Ekylo, hurry up and play Cresendo some more so you can put it on your top 3 you won’t regret it

Tokimeki Check-In!
Love Love Show!
Eve Burst Error

If I can ask what is the Love Love Show! about?

Ah, welcome! the lemons makes the “We welcome you tot he PP-board”-dance Hoep you will stay here for quite aq while .). and don’t let us scare you away!

Hmm, my three must-have choices for any b-gamer would, for now, be:

1. Kana - Little Sisiter
2. Tokimeki Check-In
3. X-change 2

But there are of course also other games I’d recommend .

Since you mentioned Hitozuma Hime Club, I might as well warn you that from what I’ve heard from those who have played it, it’s sadly not a simulation, so if it’s a training-simulation you want, I’d recommend that you wait for Gibo (if you look here, you can see that the dialouge-box of the game has 2 meters; the firs tone means “Love” while the second one means “Lewdness”: http://www.peachprincess.com/Merchant2/full/motherbreast.jpg ) or Little My Maid. Or even Newscaster Mariko, althrough that is a game for the future, so to speak.

Many thanks for the welcome!

I spent some time glancing over reviews for HHC, most notably Unicorns. Between all of them and what you've just said I really thinkg I'm going to hold off on that one for now. Money could be spent toward Private Nurse and Divi-Dead instead (love having my birthday one month prior to Christmas ... all that cash flowing in )along with Crescendo I think that'll round out my last 3 for the year.

I'm certainly going to be interested in Gibo and My Little Maid, but this is the first time I've even heard the name Newscaster Mariko... anyway/where I could get a quick 2-3 sentence summary of it? Sounds pretty straightforward, but title can be misleading...

Thanks!

Well, it's no surpise that you haven't heard of Newscaster Mariko... It's a title that was mentioned to us a long, long time ago and we know that it is one of the projects PP is working on, but that it is currently not given that much of a priority since PP ia laredy working on so much stuff...

Anyway as for the game itself, it is a title from the same Will-label that made Gibo. And as for a summary, well, I'm not too good at doing those myself, so I suggest that you go here, where Kumiko describes what the story is like on both pages of this thread:

http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000354.html

and in this one, Kumiko describes what the gameplay of NCM is like...

http://princess.cybrmall.net/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000517.html

If you wish to see a little of the game, then you can also go and
see this japanese review of NCM... http://www.gamelex.com/e-Shop/details.php?id=5305

Oh, and let's not forget that you also might be interested in Slave Bazaar, too .

Thanks! News Caster sounds very "cool," (based on the links listed) I'll be looking forward to it in the future...

I fell in love with Slave Bazaar when I saw the intro movie for it a few months back, the music (I was a music minor, not that I know much about music mind you, the reason I was a minor was because I dropped the major *lol*)really made me go WOW though... Then I noticed that PP didn't seem to have any information about it on the website so I sorta dropped it. I figured they dropped the project... You just gave me hope that it's still alive (even if it may be a far future thing). Thanks again!

It's sort of a puzzle game. So instead of playing mahjongg, you're playing a "connect-five" game with little special "cards" that allow you to do some things that changes the strategy of the game. (There's one that clears the pieces from a row for example.)

And actually it has a Japanese "side" and an "English" side. The "connect-five is the Japanese side. The English one has a different set of puzzle games, generally really easy ones. Caused a lot of confusion because a lot of people thought the game was the same on both sides. So they played the English side and was extremely disappointed.

Well, I also don't listen much to music, but the music you can encounter in anime, bishoujo games and so on is wonderful enough for me ^_^. Peach Princess haven't dropped Slave Bazaar, even through it's future is uncertain. But as far as I know they're still working on it, but as you might have figured out, PP doesn't like to put up a page about the game until it's close enough to completetion to not piss off any people by making them wait all TOO long for it . Anyway, there's no need to lose hope for Slave Bazaar yet . Just prepare to wait quite a while for it...

And you're welcome too . Feel free to ask anything whenever you feel like it and I and the lemons shall do our very best to answer .

Cool, thank you for the response. I can understand how that will understand the confusion that two sided issue would cause. So it is more a puzzle game then a story based game cool.

If you want some more information or some images, you can check the J-List, JastUSA or Himeya Soft's websites. Other, more arcade-like games, are Viper Paradice and Viper Limited Edition. Viper LE wasn't really worth it but I still occassionally play Viper Paradice. (And if you like the Viper animated scenes, it's really worth it.)

Ah, many thanks ladyphoneix. hmm, I'm not yet aware of customs on the board... shall I refer to you as ladyphoneix, or as the goddess ladyphoneix... simply one of the goddesses, or some other way...?

[Looks and watches the other guys for an indication of social norms here]

As for protective lemons, I'll take all the protection I can get... (even if I'm not yet aware of the inside joke ... err ... or if there even is one...) ::grinz::

That does remind me of high-school though where I was invited into the ladies restroom and... hmmm ... probably a topic better suited for a bishoujo game scene ... and not here ... it did involve a lemon though!

Many thanks again for the warm welcome!
