CAPCOM is very receptive to fans complaining about something loudly. From DMC, to RE, to Rockman… CAPCOM has changed a game in mid development, to suit the fans.
Looks like Ninja got a memo to get their shit together and stop ruining one of the company’s leading flagship series.

This trailer has managed to get my opinion to waver a little in the positive direction. The gameplay element does look like it could be fun like the previous games, though I can’t say for sure since this is so short. We do see Dante’s hair turn white in battle so it could mean the story for this game will be seeing him grow into the hero we all know and love, which I will admit could be good if done right. Sadly there’s not much for me to have faith in for that.
One big complaint I have is the graphics, the trailer looks like it’s for an early PS2 game.
On the whole I’m only slightly more interested in this new DMC than before, but honestly I’m more interested in FF13-2 than DMC5.
In DMC5, Dante’s hair turns white when he goes all Super Saiyan. I suppose an actual Devil Trigger is Super Saiyan 2. :roll:

According to this the fifth game is now an alternate universe and has nothing to do with the Dante we all know and love (and would have preferred):
