Their one non-awful game is on ENG actually, thanks for reminding me.
They and Seal are among a selection of commercial developers that sell on maniax and a lot of stuff on maniax ends up on eng. Not all of it, though, sadly.
Looking at those “download numbers” for these various titles I’ve seen being recommended (here and other places), is horridly heartbreaking: single digits at best.
No one buys this stuff. :x
In any case: none of the twincest or yandere on the ENG side is noteworthy to me, so I’m just gonna sit on the sidelines for the vote.
Yea… weird. Don’t see why they just won’t upload their entire library to the ENG side. Would take zero work on their part.

It’s a decent doujin title, nice art style, nothing particularly amazing about the rest of it but, you know, decent. I’d recommend it.
Is that doujin game the ex-Black Cyc guys made “Corpse Maid” or something like that available on English DLsite? If so, is it worth asking for?
It’s just a brutal sex product. The characters are interesting and whatnot, but there’s no surprises outside of what the description explains. It’s way too short to have a serious plot or development. It’s like the various short story BCyc omake: straight to the point and just a diversion for 15 to 30 minutes at most.
Get the girls brutalized by eldritch horrors, and if you feel nice enough, grant her a temporary reprieve from the nightmare. Nothing more; nothing less.

Not saying this is bad (I liked it), just saying it’s not going to deliver anything more than what’s shown on the cover. Personally, I saw it as a “fundraiser” for the group, so they could try using the profits to make a longer, better title. There’s a Corpse Maid 2 in the works, so maybe that will be the full blown product…

I played the trial when that came out, bought the game on release and have played… a bit of it. I don’t really know! It gives off a lot of similar vibes to Cosmillica’s http://www.dlsite.com/maniax/work/=/pro … 81986.html (which I might have linked earlier since it’s on eng) but has much better writing. I hope the writer moves into commercial eroge at some point because the ‘tone’ of this work is just so great. I need to get back to it though.
