I honestly had to use a no cd patch, but I’m not certain that Jast would approve me discussing such means even with an old, out of print game.
The old copy protection used by disc versions of early G-Collections titles seem to have the same issue. I had a similar problem with Come See Me Tonight on Windows 7.
