Dokusen (Possession)

Ok, I see

Well, my own school is usually only open between 7.30 on the morning and ends about 18.00 on the afternoon, and since there’s not all that many clubs at the school, there isn’t all that much activities at school after a certain hour of the day. And after that, some secturity guards will patrol the scool and ask any reamining pupils to go home…

So, at my school, it’d be hard to “hide” any “night activities” at my school, even if I know of some rooms where it’d be possible to hide that you were doing such things .

But it’s true that in anime, most pupils doesn’t seem to have any problems with staying at school at night or after school… Hmm, I think that in one of the epsiodes of Ranma¬Ω, the Science club could be seen doing their experiment at school at NIGHT!! So from what we see in anime, Japanese schools seems to have different rules when it comes to the “after school” subject…

I wish I had asked the Japanese students and their teavhers who visited my school last week about that (what a nice people, the Japanese! That was the impression I got of them during their visit - I spoke with the students and the teachers quite a lot during their visit, and they were very polite )

Geez, is studying really such a hell in Japan? Then maybe I should reconsider my plans of being a exchange student in Japan someday… Then again, I talked to a guy who had been a exchange student in Japan and he said that I shouldn’t worry about that too much, since exhange students aren’t really excepted to keep up with the Japanese studesnts.

Anyway, from the looks of the Vanilla Series list, it seems like there is another Dokusen anime being made, just like you predicted

I wouldn't worry about it. Like you said, they don't expect exchange students to keep up but also, from the students I've talked to, it's the getting into the right school that makes it hell. But once you're in the "right" college, a lot of the pressure is taken off. Not that you can goof off, but it's not such a big deal by then.

One of the guys from Japan that I met in college put it this way, "In America, students tend to coast and not work hard through high school and then start to work hard in college to try and get a good job. But in Japan, the pressure is to get into the the best college and you work hard till you get there and then you can relax and not study so hard." Granted, he may have been using it as an excuse as to why he partied hardier than I did but I always thought that it was an interesting point of view.

Well, here in Sweden, we students relax all the way to college, and THAT’S when we finally decides to work hard (even through we complain about the hard work even before that, when we really are getting off quite easy compared to the Japanese students ). Hmm, but it’s still kind of hard to believe that they work as hard as it’s described in for example Love Hina… Guess that I’ll have to see for myself

Hey Spectator Beholder, you live in a pretty cool country, my impression of Sweden is nice and relaxing, because no much crisis happen there. Sweden is one of the courty on my travel list.

Thanks you! . Well, Sweden is overall a quite "relaxing" country overall, but it's much the same with the rest of Scandinavia, althrough I'd say that things have been most calm in Sweden overall. We have, for example, not had any wars for over 300 years, and THAT is something I think of as quite amazing, since most of the world have been at war at some point during those 300 years except for Sweden. Then again, even through we're a quite calm country compared to other countries, we have our own problems as well here in Sweden .

To get back to the topic... Kumiko, may I ask one thing? Take a look at this:
and It's the dokusen anime that is out currenlty and the second one that is being made, as you can see... Now, since you've seen the anime yourself, I'd like to ask if the art really looks as "dull" as it does in the two front covers? I've seen a lot of anime, but the front covers looks unlike anything I've seen before, I think...

That second one looks really freaky. ^^;

Kumiko: Right, let’s be nice . I’ll of course have to see both for myself, but so far even the art in the screenshots from the game looks better than the front covers

Zorian: Well, I’d asy that it looks… somewhat strange ^^;. But then again, there might be a reason for the look of the picture (well, in the game they’re your slaves after all, and if you choosed to abuse them without any mercy, them that’s perhaps what they’d look like… ^^;

Well, since Dave E and Kumiko is leaving, I’d like to know one thing… Has Dave, after all this time, finailly managed to get that last ending he had such a hard time trying to get last we heard??

Ah, Ok... "other priorities"? like what? Looking up girl's skirts?

I have finally managed to read through this thread.

Hmmm. Seems quite an appealing game too, so I have to join the people shouting “Wanna have dokusen”.

Visisted the poll afterwards to make my vote and still just 190 votes in half a year.
Does not look too good I think.

Im surpised that someone has posted int his tread! Good to have you here, through

Besides, as I've said before, it doens't need to be allt hat bad. Even if Peach Princess could just sell a couple of hundred of copies, they could use some way to make up for the production costs, like offering it for a higer price (I'd buy it even if they sold it for 100 dollars!). But it wouldn't necressary have to be like that, since Kumiko pointed out that since the CG's can't be redrawn, the game would be a lot cheaper than an english adult bishoujo game for the most part is, much liie CPLE is cheaper than the edited version of CP. Don't know if it still would cover the production costs, through.
