Koi hime is recommended, but it’s rather old. (Koihime 2 is not.) I can probably think of more but I gotta go to work.
Actually alot of the hentai anime out now is game based. Now if you want a recent one with awesome character designs check out moonlight lady by kitty media. I believe the character designer is carnelian.
If you want good production values get Viper GTS it was just translated recently.
If you want good character designs, and a decent storyline, Bible Black’s pretty good. Though it does get pretty bad. It’s not a lot of people’s cup of tea. Lots of nonconsensual scenes. I don’t think there’s any scatalogical moments, but I haven’t watched it for a while, so I might be forgetting something.

If we’re just throwing out titles with no particular preferences, then I’d suggest D+vine Luv, great show. I like it. Luv Wave also, but there’s a really bad Dear God cringe moment somewhere in the second DVD. They both have really great storylines.
Lately though, I haven’t bought any shows that have really been standoutish.
