Sincerely, i’d like to see them; but if ever i was hoping for a ‘Live Action’ kind of movie, it would probably be Fate/Stay Night. I’m sure Hollywood can handle it, i think… even if it had to be kept R18. (thanks to all the blood and Ilya on the Holy Grail)

They are all just cosplay porns, not really eroge to jav conversion. That would imply that the game’s story and characters are all left intact (yet abridged). Those AVs, are more like cosplay parodies.

Well you’re not going to find a “true” eroge to JAV conversion, for the simple reason that most JAV is incredibly low budget. I’d claim that an “average” eroge costs more to produce than an “average” JAV. The American porn industry - with its multi million dollar budgets and politically active guilds - has far more resources than the Japanese could ever dream for.

Given the oddity of how Japanese copyrights work, it costs nothing to make a cosplay flick in terms of licensing. However making a full movie production of an eroge would incur heavy fees. That’s not how the JAV industry works. Not by a long shot. If a studio made an expensive JAV movie, it would result in bankruptcy. There just isn’t enough profit generated.

Japan might push more porn out in terms of volume per studio, but America generates far more sales. I believe JAV has not broken the billion dollar barrier yet… someone correct me if I’m wrong. US porn on the other hand, is currently somewhere in the region of 2 to 6 billion dollars per year, depending who you ask (note that the article is from 2001; porn sales have increased since then, especially on the digital front).

Wasn’t there a RL-movie of “La Blue Girl” as well as the game back on the NEC PC-98?
However, I am not sure how close these two are related regarding their storylines - or whether the “La Blue Girl”-movie counts as JAV at all…

Though I’ve only seen one episode, its totally low budget crap. Has the same production quality as a Power Ranger episode. My mind probably forgot about it on purpose, to avoid reliving the trauma I suffered. Thanks a lot Unicorn. I’ll be mailing my Psychiatrist bill to ya.

In any case, the sheer failure of this title, probably was enough to convince everyone to stick with Cosplay.

Just to let ya know though, old products like these are “collector’s item” in Japan. Expect to pay out the ying-yang for it. I’ve seen PC-98 titles sell for $350 to $500 - and that’s with the manuals missing and a really crappy condition box.

The game isn’t deadware: licenses for Dez Climax transfered to NEC Corp when they folded.

The Haruhi AV covers almost the entire series with just adding in random porn shots of each character

1. First time we meet Ryoko we get a scene between her and Kyon
2. When Kyon gets the invitation to Yuki’s house we get a ‘scene’ between Kyon and Yuki
3. Replacing the bit where Mikuru gets force-felt up by the computer club she gets raped
4. When Kyon and Haruhi are in the other dimension instead of kissing Haruhi to return the world to normal, they have sex

The lucky Star AV covers the first episode
then just has random porn shoots between the girls
Also includes their version of Motteke Sailor Fuko ( the animes intro song )

But their is some storyline their from what i could gather

Most of them keep some form of a storyline going throughout it
The only one that doesn’t ( that I’ve seen ) is Cosploid.
Hatsune Miku was the only one with a storyline ( You get to see the porn actor dressed as Hatsune miku dancing to the Levan Polkka but the guy she audition to didn’t like it…cue sex scene )

Basicly, there is some story but not the full thing.

…you did remember to set your Non-Unicode Program languages to Japanese?
Start> Control Panel >Regional and Language Options > Advanced (tab) > Languages for Non-Unicode Programs

You have to set this to Japanese (and restart the system) for F/SN to run, and you might need to reinstall the game. May requre your WinXP Setup CD for language files. Hope that helps.

Yeah i already have my computer set in Japanese Unicode and i also have Japanese text installed. It still crash’s upon start-up unfortunatly.
