there will be a movie for fate/stay night or a least it seems that way
i am hoping the movie will cover UBW or heaven’s feel

The same studio and core people who made TV version of FATE, are doing the movie… including the writers.

UPDATE

Yeah, The movie is based on the Unlimited Blade Works Scenario. The scheduled release date is 1/23/2010 when it starts of in a few theaters across Japan.All the voice actors from the original anime will make a return.

Oh and the main page that michelous gave is updated (I think)

Now my personal perspective:
Its easy to see why UBWis chosen, firstly the anime was based on Fate route and UBW is the route where there is actually no need for an ero scene.And in my opinion UBW is the fastest and action paced route

To be honest the game is much better than the anime,but its good, and much better than the stuff you find. Rest is up to you.
I would think its a good deal.

How the hell are the gonna cover UBW in 90 odd minutes, even if they scrap all the Sakura cooking, Tiaga freaking and other crap.

alot of the story can be cut to description
like lots of time is spent in the game on describing the scene
and if you cut everything that doesn’t advance the story maybe you can fit into 90 minutes

from what i heard the movie was pretty sick and the new ova’s show newly animated scenes from the game for the 2 hour long ova’s retaking the fate arc
