She’s gone now, but I really liked Nana Natsumi. Her career was brief, but she was perky and fun to look at. Started out as a news reader for a TV station, as I understand. And she was not the only one. Apparently, going from TV news to porn is a pretty common career path in Japan. Lately tho, I’ve been mostly watching “amateur” AVs (or “shiroto” as they say). These usually involve an unseen cameraman accosting women on the street (nampa) and inviting them back to his parked van where they are interviewed and gradually talked out of their clothes. Usually some tekoki (hand job) is involved. I have to admit that these are not very hot AVs. There’s usually a lot more talk (a LOT more) than actual sex going on, so I can’t really recommend them to anyone, unless they want to practice their Japanese and are tired of “Ohayoo gozaimasu Yokoi-sensei. Ogenki desuka?”
One thing that gets me, tho. Is that I can’t really believe that Japanese girls just willingly climb into the back of strange men’s vans and get freaky. But I understand money is involved (of course!)
That’s 'cos it’s not believable. Even video shoots with proper permits are usually at risk of being shutdown if they give citizens reason to complain, and that is true no matter in what country. Average looking Japanese women complete the Shiroto stagecraft (the conceit being they are true amateurs pulled off the street).
One of the largest American online porn site (Bang Bus), uses that exact premise… so it’s not just Japan.
As the Wikipedia article explains: Each video consists of a typical every woman who is “picked up on the street,” and is then persuaded to engage in sexual intercourse with men in the back of a van (usually while it’s driving) - the titular Bang Bus. Each storyline usually ends with the woman being dropped off naked, unpaid and in the wrong location, shouting at the men as they drive off laughing. The series is shot primarily in Miami, Florida.
