well… i like the characters with long hair… pretty eyes… a good body… a charismatic character… but also a bit shy sometimes… intelligent… and that has many secrets in her past… yeah… that’s it

Normally, a game will have several characters, each one representing various stereotypes of true-to-life people, particular girls. The genre is an exploration of all the wonders of being female... there's really not another game genre quite like it.For Kumiko... well, gee, you're looking at her! So, you like characters that have their tongues falling out every so often. We'll keep that in mind.
I like the girls that present a tough exterior, but are actualy rather vulnerable on the inside. Of course, I also adore the energetic, innocent types as well. And of course the shy girls. All three types make me feel so protective.

Twin-Loli-Angel-Maid-Sister.
As usual.
Nothing can change this.
i think that Kumi-chan (well i’ll keep calling her this way since today) means about little girls (talking about height) with long hair… pretty eyes… (as i posted according to my preferences) and with a few of psychic powers…
Perfect? I personally will not go for a 100% “perfect” girl. Having some defects, after all, makes them “human”… Else, the chosen one should be a no-brainer: Belldandy!
I won’t say I have a particular “has to have this specific trait”, as many of my fav characters have opposite traits to those I like. For instance, I like girls with long hair, but among my favorite anime/gal/bishoujo games characters features Kaori Yae (Tokimeki Memorial 2, short haired, not even shoulder length) and Mochida Mahoko (Kakyuusei, ditto). Also, I like shy girls, but I also like characters like Azusa (Pia Carrot he Youkoso!! 2) and Madoka (KOR); I like color green, but the only anime character (I like and I recall right now) is HMX-12 Multi. IMO, you have to live (and learn) that you can love a character despite she is not what you expected.
Well, I think a perfect girl for me should be independent minded and sometimes unbending. I find it to be more alluring that way, I don’t really like a conforming or a submissive type of character traits. It seems you guys like soft and really obedient girls. I just don’t find them that attractive, because it really makes them more like price trophy than anything else.
I personally think we are giving too much credit to terrorist’s intelligence, because this days we are making way more powerful than they are. They are simple bunch disgruntle human beings who have a problem with disagreeing with people. We shouldn’t fear them that much. Back to the subject, I think Miss Kumiko’s advise is a good one, because you will never know when a nice puppy turn into a wolf. Woman is not a spice that should be reckon with, especially when they are shall we say in “heat”.
On kind-off a non-sequitor, I’d like to expand on fxho’s and Nobody’s “quirk” comments. Do forgive, as I’ll take a bit to get to where I’m going.
I always found it odd what people found likeable in others. There is a Roman saying, but for the life of me I don’t remember the actual Latin. (ASIDE: Four years of Latin, and all I can say without thinking about it is “Cur to me vexas.”) To me, quirk’s add to a characters personality and charm. It makes them more real to me. For example, one of the quirks of Sheryl from Desire is she’s horribly shy and timid since she’s a mullato. Yet she’s absolutely gorgeous and hell-of-a-smart, and has no reason to be. This made Sheryl all the more attractive to me.
Anyway, the saying is “About taste, there can be no argument.” To expand on Kumiko’s comments, that’s one of the huge reasons I enjoy the bishoujo genre in all it’s forms. There’s a little something for everyone. And, you can go back for seconds, if you have eclectic tastes.
Overall for me, I guess I like people who have AB personalities… as it’s closest to what I am. I have one outer shell that I show most people, but if you get to know me, I’m completely different inside.
As for the “never underestimate a woman”, I’d kinda like to take this on another aside. More of a question. I think this is why the phrase “Momma’s Boy” is so much more derogatory than “Daddy’s little princess.” Your mother will do a hell of a lot more to win your fights (whatever they may be), than your father… who’s more opt to tell you “keep a stiff upper lip. It build’s character.” It’s just how American society works (not to exclude our visiting friends, but I’m from Cleveland Ohio, so I’m an American)… and it’s a shame. I guess it’s akin to the terms “tomboy” and “pansy.” Tomboy really doesn’t have any negative comments to it, but pansy definately does. But that’s neither here nor there… so I’ll stop before I get off on a rant.
Anyway, overall… I like pretty much all the characters. Each one has something that makes them wonderful in their own way.
But, hands-down, Kumiko-chan is the best She sets the bar that all the others are measured against.
