I edited my post above,but unless they’re planning to can the Vanadis-Soft brand then firing him was a fool’s move.His artwork is what made these games popular.The original lamia game was a pretty generic story with a single twist,but the event CGs looked good so that made it a success commercially,at least it seems.

Sometimes an artist or writer will leave/quit/get fired, only to suddenly return a few months later because things smoothed over. While working with Vanadis, it wasn’t unusual for the next game Bubudzuke was working on, to be released 10+ months later. So the one year drought could be ordinary situation. I’d argue to wait until 2015 goes by without a Bubudzuke title released by Vanadis, [u]then[/u] it would be “safe” to claim he’s left them for good.

What is unusual, is that Bubudzuke gone to other studios for work… so that’s worth a bit of concern: his work pattern indicates he’s “dedicated” to the studio he works with, unless he leaves them.

Again… it’s been almost a year since Vanadis released a title with his art, but that also happened with Sei Monmusu Gakuen. Perhaps there’s another title in the works for 2015. But if 2016 arrives without anything from him with them… I’d say it’s totally over.

There was also the unusual game released in July 2013 about androids,where he didn’t do the art.I just hope things get moving soon and a game like the original 4+the mermaid game comes out.The latest game from herencia appears to be a Sailor Moon ripoff,but Bubudzuke didn’t do the art,hopefully because he’s working on monstergirls.

On a semi-related note,in the same way you’re suprised that Black Cyc has never had an anime adaptation,I feel the same way about Vanadis.It boggles my mind how the first 2 games especially haven’t gotten the h-anime treatment.Considering how different it would be to the usual hentai fare,I can only conclude it would be too expensive to make in high quality(for instance trying to make sure Lamia actually moves like a snake-and Aruru would need to have some movement pattern invented).

While not a Vanadis title, I’m sure Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou will get a late night ettchi anime in the near future. It’s a pretty popular manga and there’s always animation studios looking for a harem series to beat the competition with. Most harem anime don’t exactly have that much of a difference between them, so one about monster girls should make it stand out… and be the first of that kind. IMHO, the reason it hasn’t been done yet, is because there weren’t enough chapters to make a 12 episode run… but now that’s no longer the case.

You should get your monster girls on TV soon enough. 8)

Yeah, I wonder if Umarikawari,or whatever his name is on page one knows you guys have got them for sale now?

Regardless,even though I know a fair bit of Japanese now,there's one thing you guys always have,and that's the uncensored CGs. Got my fingers crossed for Alraune no baai next,followed by Harpy-cyclops-arachne game. Then the mermaid one. And if you're up for it, the mamono gakuen game,just so you can release Sei-Monmusu-festival and have it not be out of left field.
