Hmm, I wonder if I still have the original box. I know I did manage to keep some of the ones of the older games. Definitely going to do an inventory this weekend...

Don't you keep your collection all in one place?

I got the notice. Sorry, but I forgot to read my email before I went to bed last night so I only saw it this morning after I got to work. I'll be mailing it out tomorrow.

For the most part. But I've been doing this for awhile and with all the games I've gotten just in the past year, I'm not entirely sure what I have and in what condition it is. (For me, an inventory also involves briefly playing the game. ) For instance, I know I have the original May Club but I think the last time I tried to play it, my computer had trouble reading the CD. And I know I have some of the original boxes of games like Season of the Sakura and Runaway City but I think a couple of the others I might have thrown away. *shrug*

Whoa, I’ve never started a thread before thats gone on so long.

Granted, we went off topic for a while but hey!!

Thanks for all your input peeps.
(Trying to think up a new topic)

Eckker.

Hey ekylo, let me know if you have any old games or even old game boxes that you want sell. I’m all about the older stuff heheh. Well, I’m off to gab some dinner, later!

I’m a slow gamer. Mostly because I’m not so interested in winning, just playing. It took me 3 years to finish the original DOOM. And I did it by accident. I was highly disappointed as well.

But that’s just me.

Made in DNA

DOOM? Man, I can’t even remember the last time I played it. Then again, first person shooters never really did hold my interest that well. Though I may need to look at them again, it’ll be cheaper to let out my frustrations that way instead of on paintball…

You’re going to talk to your dinner? Just kidding. (Though I did notice you also typo’d your last name in your payment to me. Slow down and relax a bit, eh? Otherwise, you’ll end up like Spec-san ) But actually, unless I have duplicates, I probably won’t get rid of any them. I’m such a pack rat at times. Heck, I won’t even get rid of the original Paradise Heights I have, even though I thoroughly despise the game. Oh heck, I’ll be moving soon, maybe I’ll sort it all out then…

yeah but its still printed correctly on my ship to information :P.

Man doom was fun. I played that for years it seems. I never beat it too many times though.

Even though Doom was the grandfather of shooters (and Castle Wolfestein the grand-grandfather of all of them, with Ultima Underworld being the lost relative), I preferred Rise of the Triad for it’s extremely silly multi-player options. God mode? Dog mode? A baseball bat as a weapon??? Duke Nukem was also good for multiplayer. Ah… the Shrinker… Pipe bombs… Did I mention 6+ players?

Don’t forget to include shadow warrior. Thats another classic.

Sorry, it just amuses me when someone mistypes their own name. Then again, I only have two letters in my last name so it's very hard for me to do any sort of typo there...

Oh, forgot to mention, I mailed it out to you on Friday. In the chaos of running into an old high school classmate at the post office, having to stay 2 hours late at work and getting very drunk that evening, I forgot to let you know. You should get it either today or tomorrow.

Er, I forgot what the topic was about again...

Hey ekylo, I received the folder today. Man thanks a million and then some. I’m sooooooooooo happy I have it. You’re da man~.

Thanks again.

Nope, I am actually the monkey of Delphi! Er, sorry, inside joke at work. But I'm glad it arrived. A package I sent out last month got lost in the mail, the first time it's happened to me, and I've been a bit paranoid about it since.

Hmm, I do agree with Woodelf-san about "Season of the Sakura". They did well with the "game time" balance within it. And I know that to several people, it felt more "real" to them, that that they could see themselves building a similar relationship over such a period of time. Which reminds me, I really need to play the memorial collection version soon...

Yes, Season of the Sakura did feel the right kinda length, didn’t it? Both in terms of game time (9-12 months) and play time. Although I remember the very first time I played it, reacting like "What?! We’ve just skipped ahead 3 weeks? What happened in between?! " But I do prefer seeing the relationship develop gradually, rather than very hurriedly in Tokimeki Check-In style.

(I still think TCI is a magnificent game! I just prefer the pacing of things like Casual Romance Club, where you have to get to know a girl somewhat before sleeping with her, and wait more than 1 day after meeting her… )

Could have been worst, they could have actually made you play those 3 weeks...

Hehehe. Yep, fair point I guess... but I wasn't initially expecting it to be a gradual over-the-course-of-the-year thing. I wanted to know how the chats to Meimi, Kiyomi and Seia went over the next week. Wanting to gobble up every word of interaction between him and the lovely Meimi, you know how it is

But they handled the transition well - what you see in the episodes that you do see gives you a good indication of what happens in between. We can safely assume that Reiko and Mio rush in to eat lunch with Shuji every day, that Aki keeps fighting with Makoto, that Ruri doesn't talk much, and so on

Heh, yup, I know. But then again, I try to think of it as if I was looking back on my high school days. (Which I've been doing a lot lately, 10 year reunion is next month.) I remember specific events and incidents, but couldn't tell you what the heck went on on a day to day basis. Or maybe my memory is just going bad...
