GamelexGs online shop G-Collections!

Looking at the price…
Himeya is still the best place to purchase Ero-Game.

(Double from CherrySoft sells for $83 instead of $99 on G-Collection.)

No Himeya is cheaper…They have changed their International shipping to the same as Domestic from $8 to $5.
That game will total to $88 at Himeya and its $11 more at this shop ^_^;;

It always looks so much cheaper when they say shipping is inclusive, but ya gotta go and add up the stuff to be sure.

Also, I order alot of stuff from Japan and shipping prices aren't as bad as they might seem ^.^

>_< Unfortunately a few books can ship for more than a few Game boxes.(cuz of their bulk)

This looks really great! ^______^.

Thet don’t seem to have very many games there, yet, but nonetheless, it’s great!

Yes, I do agree that the info is alot better and doesn’t have to be deciphered! (lol)

I think Himeya is stretching it a little with the shipping in order to keep/get more customers.

The last game I got from them was a Japan based game and was sent USPS Priority.(USPS Priority Mail is for within US areas Only)

So they might have a system similar to other Import stores; in which they bulk ship groups of ordered Items EMS from Japan to the location in the USA and charge Priorty Shipping (or shipping within that price range for intl customers).

So the high shipping is on them and you pay less. Or they could have alot of items in stock in the USA warehouse…(less likely I guess)

…just a though :slight_smile:

Did he choose to ship by EMS ? If he did,then I uderstand that he had to pay about US$15 more on top of the US$5 Shipping And Handling Charge.

I've been purchasing Ero-Games from Himeya for more then a year now and I didn't notice any change in their S&H fees except that they had include a EMS fee a year back.

I think for us Europeans, whether the package comes from Japan or the US doesn’t make significant difference… ;_;
We need a H-games shop in Europe…

Went a little on their page…
Weird… No Elf, no AliceSoft, no Leaf… On the other hands, they splitted each companies on all of their different labels:
- F&C as Fairytale, Cocktailsoft, Redzone
- SP Janis as Janis, Ciel
- Will as Guilty, Ruf, Rouge
Wonder if it’s a good idea…
And there’s no SLG in the genres listed… ^^;;;;;

Well, anyway, the more online shops the better!

Well, that could be done someday... but right now, the market isn't big enough to make anyone interested in opening such a shop in Europe...

Himeya does not have a US office anymore... although they still have the address listed, so we're not sure exactly what they are doing. That's the other problem, too - if you're in CA and buy from them, you have to pay state sales tax because Himeya is a California company, even if they are shipping goods from Japan. 8.25% sales tax on top of everything else means that you don't buy from a California company if you can possibly avoid it! Well I live on the east coast so most sales taxes don't affect me ^_^;
Also there isn't many anime based shops in VA so I have to buy stuff from other states.

Know what? Come to sunny New Jersey, you don't pay CA's exorbitant sales tax, and you get to live next door to me, or you can rent a room in my house.

Of course, much of Asian culture comes in through CA, anyway, which is why a lot of shops are out here. But for residents, it sort of sucks to have to pay state sales tax.

Oh? Asian Culture comes through my house all the time.

I’ve never had a problem with Himeya, when ordering from them. It usually takes about 7-10 days after ordering to receive my items. (I live in Ohio) Never had shipping be more than $5. I don’t use EMS because its way too expensive, just to be able to track something from point A to point B when I know I’m going to get the item in the said time frame.

To those who do no live in the US, tracking number could be a life or death situation. Down here, mail easily gets "lost", specially when they are bulky and have certain pictures on it (guess which pictures...)

Well, you guys have Hobibox Europe as a company, right? That's something... they've been around quite a while now, all things considered.

Also, there are European shops, too. There's Computerland in Italy, for example, and Kurutsu mentioned Archon in Belgium... so, you have some, at least.

Mind to give me their homepage, Kumiko-chan?

I'm glad they split up the games by catagories. Plus, the translations are better than Himeya's. The prices are the big problem. They are way too expensive for my tastes.

Well, if you ARE a fan, the prices shouldn't be that much of a problem Just buy the games you want the most... I, myself... I'd gladly buy tons of those games, if I just could read Japansese .

Just because he is stating what he feels doesn’t mean he isn’t a true gaming fan ^_^;

Himeya may not be so bad price-wise to him.
If he is a consumer he has the right to complain.

The yen is at a low now and for a 8800 yen game,Himeya sells at US$82 which is reasonable even when you include about US$5 more for shipping.

But this place,G-Collection, sells for US$99 which is way beyond the current exchange rate and not to mention that they seem to demand US$10 shipping fees for EVERY title ordered from them,they are clearly ripping off consumers....
