Getting bishoujo games into canada

Just recently, there was a discussion on here about customs, and I did some reasearch on the topic, and did some browsing on the canadian customs page. Anyways, I found something quite interesting here ( http://www.ccra-adrc.gc.ca/customs/business/importing/courier/postal/ind_prohibited-e.html ). Anyways, the page says that pornography is listed under prohibited goods, and that I can even face criminal charges for trying to import it. Since all of Peach Princess’ games are Adult rated, I’m worried that attempting to import them will have them stopped at the border, and disposed of. Is there anyone else from canada that has attempted to import PP games?

Thanks.

I've had 3 PP games shipped to me (in Quebec, Canada) without any problems, you shouldn't have any either.

Well, in order to get Service Service distributed into Canada, we have to have each issue reviewed by a board who decides if it is decent or not. The same goes for the UK- it not a suggestion, it’s manditory.

But I think this plays to the whole idea of getting foreign adult subject matter through customs in general, be it from US to Canada or Japan to the US.

What!? You mean that if I subscribe, I'll only get the issues that some idiots think are "decent" enough for this country? That's crazy...

Guess it depends on how they end up defining “pornography”. I mean, one person might call it “pornography”, another “art”, and another “educational material”.

And I definitely agree with TurricaN-san, it’s a bit crazy. But then we are talking about humans. Crazy comes with the territory.

Ok, thanks for the help guys. I guess I shouldn’t worry too much about it then. Another quick question, how much total canadian did some of the games come to after shipping, customs, etc? I’m wondering how much money I need if I’m going to get something in. Just the simple product cost can be misleading. Thanks again guys.
