OMG! I just spent a lot of money right now! lol…but I’m a big fan of these games, and after reading how much this industry is suffering on sales, I guess I got inspired to shop! I ordered me TCI + the TCI T-shirt & X-change! I was just earlier getting all mad on how much old Jast Games don’t play on my Windows 2000!!! So, I decided to browse the shops to see if anything new came out and found Peach Princess. The Peach Princess games were by far the most appealing to me visually & storywise. It was Gibo that first caught my interest but it’s not out yet But hopefully soon, cuz that’s next on my list! But TCI & X-change looked pretty good to me and I need something to tide me over till then. Thought it was time to play something new besides my old Jast games for the millionth time. Figuring how much I’ve played those…I thought I’d enjoy the Peach Princess games I ordered just as much if not more! I just hope they are sent out today because I wanna get them on my day off! God, I hate waiting for things to come in the mail!!!
Welcome AlBhedRikku-san.
It’s always good to see new people around here. I think that you will really enjoy X-Change and Tokimeki Check-In. The second of these is the bigger game of the two and the one that I personally enjoyed more, but X-Change is pretty good too.
You might want to note the problems that a few people seem to be having with text alignment on Windows 2000 machines in Tokimeki Check-In; it’s easily fixable though and the games should both run fine. I’m waiting for Gibo too (and Little My Maid and Brave Soul ) but it looks as though Little My Maid will be released before Gibo and I’m not even sure at what point Brave Soul will be released. That is of course, if any of them ever get released at all. As you know the current market situation, the bishoujo games need more support so that more can be released.
Salutations~

Will come to the BBS. Anyway, I'm the fun of the Bishojo Games too. Little my Maide and Brave Soul will be big game. So is the Salve Bazzar.
Welcome! And we always encourage the spending of money at PeaPri!
Yup, sales aren’t as great as any of us would like to see so be sure to remember to also help promote the games to your friends and local stores if you can. Us fans want to give PeaPri the best chance to stay open and bring us as many games as possible, right?
yay, more new people…more lunacy! it gets better and better! ::bounce bounce bounce:: oops, there i go again!
Welcome, comrade, to the noble, beautiful world of adult bishoujo games!!
And welcome to our noble mission as well: To make the world aware of the adult bishoujo games and to create a market for them here in the west
Personally, I feel that one should never stop a lady who feels like bouncing, so go ahead Ladyphoenix-san, I’ll just sit in the corner and observe. Er, purely scientific reasons of course!
Welcome.
I can imagine what you mean by your frustration at not being able to play the old Jast games–Season of the Sakura is still one of my favorites. E-mail Jast’s customer support (support@jastusa.com) and they might be able to tell you how to run their old games on Win 2000; they have a DOS boot for XP and are friendly folks.

I would email Jast asking how to do the boot disk but I don't think they will help me because they need an ISBN #. I'm guessing it is on the glossy Large package the CD case comes in. However...I got Season of Sakura a loooong time ago! And me and my friend went in on getting some games from them. I got Seasons & he got Runaway City. I gave him the money because I didn't have a credit card at the time. And when the games arrived...he came to my house with Seasons in just the CD case (no Large glossy packaging)! When I saw his Runaway City he had 1 of those Large ones! I asked if mine had one but he said no....hmmm, I always suspected he took it! But I looked up and down the back of the CD case and there isn't an ISBN #...so I don't know what to do. I guess I can always buy Three Sisters Story from them for $9.95 and get the ISBN # off that one. And one other thing, does Jast still make Runaway City? I was going to get that one for myself. I looked on their site and they don't have Seasons of Sakura OR Runaway City!

hmmm, last i knew from their updates a while ago, they sold out their remaining copies of Runaway City and Seasons of Sakura, and i don’t know if they are planning a reprint, probably not for a while
and people, if you are going to watch me bounce, be honest about your reasons for it…scientific reasons, indeed lol

Well, there is some science involved. Physics and anatomy off-hand. Some biology and psychology as well, though I'll admit it would make more sense to observe me observing you bouncing in those cases but I'm not even paid to make sense at work so why should I do it here? Okay, so I did fib about it being for purely scientific reasons but I was trying to avoid the slap that Kumiko-san mentioned... Hmm, can't think of anywhere that would have either title still for sale. I know I picked them up as soon as I had a chance but that was awhile back. But it might be worth it to pick up Three Sister's Story anyways. You really can't beat the price and you'd probably want to add it to your collection since it's becoming harder and harder to find the older games.
Thanks for the tip for Excalibur…I’ve known about them carrying these games for some time…I noticed they have May Club for a decent price…but True Love is $45.99! Geez, that’s a bit much! Anyone think it’s worth that? I’m just wondering if they still have them in stock because they don’t update their site like that sometimes. You could order and the items end up being out of stock.
True Love looks a little old in terms of graphics, and only has MIDI (Though extremely good MIDI) music and it doesn’t have any voice. However, it’s one of the best bishoujo games that I’ve played and my personal favourite bishoujo game yet. There is a lot to do in it and a really nice game.
