Hi everyone! just a little question

hey kumiko-san…
or any other members…
i’d a question 4 u…
how much time i must wait 2 receive my copy of x-change?
i mean… the average time because i just bought a few days ago several of PeaPri’s games and i wanted to know what i must expect for x-change and what you can say from the other ones’s shippin average time when they’ll come available (hey i live in panama)

hey!
someone out there!!
answer me!!!

Errr… Don’t press others to answer you. We have other things to do, you know. (This is not a chat room, but a bulletin board, so, please, be patient for an answer. And, also please, don’t use some “shortcuts” when you can type the whole word).

Back to your question, the only shipping game is X-Change, and Snow Drop is scheduled to be release later this month/earlier next month. (Kumiko-san, please, let it be later this month! ^_^). In my experience with international orders (specifically, shipping to Panama), it could range from 15 days to 180 days after payment (my experience, millage may vary).

Just for the record, I got my copy in those 15 days.

You could have gotten info under the “First Thoughts About X-Change Post.” About shipping, I got mine in a few days and I live in the ghetto since I go to USC.

Hmmm…as far as I know PeaPri is very fast in their shipping time.
It took only 1 week after they receive the payment for me to receive the items.
Oh yeach, I’m talking about AUSTRALIA

This applies to X-Change and Snow Drop wallscroll which I bought

well thnx to everyone…
(sorry but the “shortcuts” are very useful)
by the way… do you know about a game called “Dousin”?
i’m pretty interested in it… cause that game’s CGI images (in matter of quality) are almost equals that the images of games like X-change and Tokimeki check-in…
in fact… i had some images (that i found in some online-shopping sites) of that game and x-change’s and tokimeki’s ones too =)
even before knowing about them and a company called PeaPri that translates them to the english =)
so… kumiko-san Is PeaPri thinking about translating that game to the english?

(by the way… i created this topic cause it’s not only about x-change… it’s about “little questions”… with big and many answers… just like bishoujo games right =) ? )

well… erhm… sorry!
as always i use to extrapolate the things
sorry Kumiko-san and the others…
the true it that my collection is… very small!!
i only gathered those few picks to be sure that the game’s quality is the best of the best… and… as i supposed… that’s true
so i only used them to be sure that i did a good choice about in what i should spend my money
so… sorry again!!

I don’t know if people will think poorly of me after I say this but I just had to get my opinions and concerns out since this is such a heated topic. I for one have used Napster as I’m sure alot of other people have. However, I only used it to get songs that I have heard were good and to see whether or not most of the album or all of the album was worthwhile. If I didn’t like it I got rid of them b/c it just took up space and I got rid of them even if I ended up liking the album b/c I would go out and buy it. Before, I would run into the disappointment of getting an album and finding out I paid 12-15 bucks on an album and only liking one or a few songs. I felt jipped. Unfortunately, not everyone will delete things or even buy the actual album so I understand the concern and problem of pirates. It’s kinda like Communism. If everyone did their part and people weren’t selfish and greedy it would be a great system. However, in the real world not everyone is honest so the system failed. This problem of piracy obviously applies to all electronic forms of media be it games and images.

Well, this appears to be one of my longest messages, but relative to Kumiko-chan’s posts this is still pretty damn short. I guess it is do to the fact that I have always been a concise writer.

Well, just to clarify, I was just using Communism as an example for how people are greedy and self centered and why systems based on trust do not work. I’m not here to argue about systems although I would like to since I’m a social science and history buff.

Also, 30 sec. clips on songs is certainly not enough b/c a lot can change in a song. They may only play the 30 sec which sounds cool to you and when you hear the rest you are disappointed. Or, they may have a clip for 30 sec that you do not like but you find out the rest is cool and you would have liked the song. Previews and commercials for movies follows this same principle. I still remember my disappointment when I saw Cone heads. I thought that was one of the crummiest movies I had ever seen. However, the commercials on TV made it look cool. Unfortunately, all the funny parts in my opinion were on the commercial. I felt jipped. For this reason I prefer basing whether or not to go watch a movie on a preview in the theaters b/c it is longer and shows more of the movie so you can get a better feel for it.

Don’t get me wrong I’m trying to support the bishoujo industry and Peach Princess since I have bought or pre-ordered all the products that are available from PeaPri. And I have been working hard and diligently, sacrificing school work to finish the editing process of Tokimeki Check-In to try to get the game out as soon as possible to help out.

Like you said Nobody-san, I also do not have money to burn. Especially with the adult anime games. Frankly, most of the games are expensive by U.S. standards. Having price ranges generally from 60-90 dollars is a lot in the U.S. unlike in Japan where it is the norm since they have a higher cost of living. I think it would be really cool if all the companies released playable demos. I think if they did that then more people would actually buy the game instead of going to pirated sites. With playable demos I get enough of a feel for the game that if I like it I will buy it. I’m willing to pay the 60-90 dollars if I can get a feel for a game b/c I know what I’m buying. I’m sure other people would agree.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I believe that the companies and people involved in producing products should be protected for their work but there needs to be a balance where the consumers need to be protected by not getting jipped. And to screw it all up are the dishonest people who just steal without paying and breaking this whole trust thing. Frankly, I’m very happy to pay for something even if it is expensive as long as I know what I’m getting into. It is when the consumers aren’t well informed or when outright decieved that gets me very annoyed.

The thing that really irritates me about the whole Piracy thing is this: because the idiots who pirated all of Otaku’s titles, now I’m never going to know who Keigo ends up with in Paradise Heights 3! (Hangs head in disgust and disappointment)

well… that’s right…
(sorry PeaPri but i must use other companies as examples)
in fact many companies like Otaku or Jast… or even Hobybox actually seems that they stopped their game production
all cause the piracy and… if we think it twice… all of us (even the pirates) ended affected cause
A- the variety of games go down… cause the creators dunno want to lose their time knowing that their work will end being some kind of ilegal "freeware"
B-… and that if we have luck cause many of them prefer to stop wasting their efforts and simply they stop the game development just leaving to us the game fans a few and bad-quality games
but well this’s the world… we (everyone of us almost once did this…or will do) prefer to sabotage the other’s work without thinking that at the end we’ll be the worst affected… (we’re just like the crabs… killing ourselves instead of thinking how can we success together)
anyway… let’s try to keep save all those sites that produce good-quality games like PeaPri from the hands of all those bishoujo-pirates

[well as i said this is a poll of many little questions (and problems) that only can be solved if all of us the fans work together with the game companies ]
