Hi everyone, I just got a hot tip (ok, I really just went and checked out their website) that TokyoPop is having a blowout sale that includes a 12 inch Rag Doll/UFO Catcher from the AIR series for sale, marked down from $11.99 to $3.99. The catch is, there is no image supplied for the doll, so you have to buy it on faith, like I did.
So will you tell us your opinion of the doll when you do get it? I’m sorry, I’m getting to the point where I’m a bit tired of taking things on faith…
Certainly, I’ll even post up an image of it when I get the chance after I receive the package.

If you want pics... There are only 2 series of the Air plushies, so it's easy to see which one you have... Go to http://ufocatcher.net/ufoplush/air/airmain.html. The 1st series is composed of five 12" plushies (NeoToys only have 3 models displayed) while the second series is composed of 4 bigger plushies (don't remember the exact size, but they are a lot bigger; that's why I bought them in preference to the 1st series...)

Okay, I see it now. Er, olf_le_fol-san, can you do a quick fix to your link. You have the “.” at the very end included in the URL reference. It’s coming up as a broken link otherwise.

Done. BTW, you can just call me Olf-san (or even "-kun"... )

Heh, sorry, habit. Then again, I rarely, if ever, use “-kun” or even “-chan”. In general, I’d rather be overly polite rather than risk offending anyone. (Which, come to think of it, is a bit odd since I absolutely hate being called “sir” or “mister”.)

Well, I read enough of your posts and probably answered to enough to them to not be offended by being called "-kun"...
But then, of course, it's the proper way to address someone IMO. Unless they say you otherwise, always call them by their lastname + "-san".
But, don't ever call me "-chan"!! o_O'

Awww, why shouldn’t I use “-chan” for you!
Just kidding. I don’t think I’ve even used “-chan” for Kumiko more than maybe once or twice. And I think part of the reason I try not to use either “-kun” or “-chan” on a BBS is that I’m still not 100% sure of people’s genders. I’d hate to accidentally use the wrong one.

Well, except if you appear to be my childhood female friend who used to wake me up every morning to go to school and whom I left behind when I moved from my childhood town seven years ago on a snowy day, I'm not a kid anymore and we're not that close anyway. You're not 100% sure about Kumiko-chan's gender?!

No, I wouldn't dare even suggest that I have any doubts about such a thing unless I was looking to get hurt, and not in that good way.

Wait. Why I have read/heard/seen something similar before? Hmmmm... Let me see... Was it Tokimemo 2 (the move away part)? Or was it To Heart (the waking you in the morning part)? Hmmmm... Sound suspicious. Are you sure that playing way too much SLG isn't beginning to affect your memories?

Well, I am not sure about Kumiko's gender... (dodge and runs!)
Unless, of course, Kumiko shows us a REAL photo, jejejeje.

Actually, I was thinking about "To Heart" (hey! Akari-chan is calling Hiroyuki-san "Hiroyuki-chan" much to his dismay, ne? ) and "Kanon" (now, now, fxho: seven years ago, a snowy day!)

Of course not! I did have a female childhood friend who used to call me "-chan" and wake me up to go to school! It was before I changed so much schools (11 during my school days) and met a special girl in each school. For instance, last year, I worked in a family restaurant and there was that girl I bumped into the morning of my interview and happened to work there as well... Anyway, so I left my childhood friend seven years ago by a snowy day, to search for "The Girl With Wings" my mother told me about as her dying word... And I should met her again soon, as the goddess Swatty told me yesterday and...
Hey! Why are you looking at me with such dubious eyes? All of this is true, I'm telling you! It's just as I recall it! Hey! No, I don't like shirtless white blouse! And... Hey, hey...!!!!! Someone help me!!!! Suspicious men in white are kidnapping me!!!!!

But, you do remember her, so that's why I mentioned Tokimemo2. Or are you just guessing (her name)?

Well, no, I don't remember her name... That's why I was wondering if she was called 'ekylo-chan'...

Wrong for Pia1: it was Pia2, in which you bumped into Azusa-chan on the day of your interview. "One"? I was thinking about good old Swatty from "Can Can Bunny"... 67%... Not bad, fxho-kun...

Hi people, I got the Air UFO catcher dolls last night after a marathon 4 hour interview session for the Bishoujo Gaming Survey project. Here is a gif image I found on the internet that shows my UFO Catcher doll: http://media.bigstep.com/shop/5/98/10670985/upload/997322309578.gif
Oh by the way, TokyoPop looks like they are all out of the Air UFO Catcher Dolls. I have 2 extra ones, I haven’t figured out what to do with them yet, my anime club cronies are still uninitiated in Bishoujo gaming, maybe I’ll put them up for prize when the Bishoujo Gaming Survey website goes live.
