Well, alot of anime’s just have hints at sexuality…nothin brutal (lol) Blood and gore blah, I don’t care bout that.
I have no real interest in H anime now ^_^;;
The art is usually never as good as the Computer generated stuff. And Since I’m an “art” person it has to look good for me to watch it.
Almost the majority of H anime that is released over here seems to be ones involving tentacle/rape and S&M themes. I mean, stuff like Urotsukidoji is the most popular hentai anime over here ever, right?
I guess this is catering to American tastes, but it also left an impression on me that this is the kind of stuff that Japanese actually like. Since then, i’ve found that the Japanese like a HUGE range of things (ranging from normal romance stuff to things as disgusting as snuff and scat) so it’s really hard for me to put a finger on what’s most popular (although I still have the impression that rape themes are the most popular in Japan, which disturbs me). But maybe i’m only being exposed to that small 10% of what is available over there. If someone can clear up what the Japanese like the most, that would be cool. (I remember at A-Kon 2000, that the bishoujo artists commented that the things America like are things that Japan liked 10-20 years ago).
You mean Kumiko may have made a mistake?!? Say it isn’t so…
What’s in the demo anyways? What big secret surrounds the weblink that leads to nowhere?

Except... "Monster rape" stuff is only a small minority of what H anime have to propose... Stopping your interest to H anime for that is like stopping anime because "they're all sex&violence"... I mean... Apparently, presently is the trial time for H anime... With NuTech releasing (going to release) PinPai's very diversified H catalog, it's the time to show we enjoy hentai other than just "monster rape"... just like people showed their interest to shoujo anime some years before. IMO, if PinPai's catalog doesn't work and make its way in the US, we'll then NEVER see adult anime other than "monster rape"... They're probably the best Japanese company in that field, so if they can't succeed...
The market probably matured enough for more diversified anime erotica. BUT the old teens, tits, and tentacles isn't going to go away any time soon. On Green Bunny's web site I seen La Blue Girl and some new anime (high school girls/shinto priestesses fighting tentacle critters). The problem is Anime 18 spead the TnT stereotypes. Every other A18 video is a tentacle rape video.
A18 is a business just like any other. It doesn’t ‘spread’ stereotypes, people’s stereotypes is reinforced by the type of releases that are popular, or first impressions. When was the last time anyone thought of ‘End of Summer’ when Hentai anime was mentioned, despite the fact that Urotsukidoji, La Blue Girl are only two titles. Does anyone know about A18’s releases like Agga Ruter, Masquerade, Midnight Panther? Hardly. When people think about Hentai anime they don’t even think about Soft Cel, they think ‘tentacle’ because that has gotten more infamous publicity than any other hentai anime had to offer.

but it's the dramas that win all the awards or sell the best, not the hyped titles.
Let's hope so...

Since the majority of situations in most anime dating games are from the guys point of view, or at least have situations thought of by men, what would such a game be like if it were made by women? Typically a male story has some form of oogling, hunting, manipulating, physical exertion or taking advantage of others, which are based partly on the male psyche. How would a woman choose to present things, or what would women rather see?
If you have the game "Sakurabato Station", then you'll have your answer. According to what I've read, this is a bishoujo H game that was 100% developed by women.
In any case, I can say that most women don't write much different than men in terms of H. The manga, at least, isn't much different, as women can write just as violent and kinky of material as men. I don't have any specific answers, but several females have told me this.
The God of Sex[squared], available from Eros Comix and translated by Studio Proteus was also H manga drawn and told by a woman. There are discernible differences when you compare it to H manga drawn and told by a man.

Yes, women tend to show just as explicit material or violence or whatever, but the presentation does have differences. One point of note is that many girls really love the designs for Kakyuusei, even if they don't know that a woman (Aya Kadoi) did the designs rather than the original male designer for Doukyuusei and Doukyuusei 2. It seems to be almost a subliminal thing... real sisterhood, right?
A woman did the character designs for Doukyusei? That's probably the reason the female characters have realistic body types (ie Misa is slightly stocky and all the female cast members don't have huge boobs and tiny waists).

There are many men who draw realistic female bodies, too - Satoshi Urushihara, or Hiroyuki Ututane, for example... and of course U-Jin. Slave Bazaar actually has the girls being... umm, a bit "chesty" shall we say? Maybe Yura-san is very petitely built?
"Chesty" isn't exactly the word I'd use , but you're right about that... In Bianca and Cecilias case, anyway... Myia's chest looks a bit more normal (it sure must feel unfair to you, Kumi-chan, that the "tomboy" of the story's got the most normal breast of the girls )
Hey everyone, take note, the new manga ‘School Zone’ coming from Redlight Manga is a woman’s work, I can’t tell if ‘Michio’ is a woman’s name, because I think the woman’s version of the name is ‘Michiko’, but it is done by a ‘Akiko Fujii’, which is definitely a woman.
