Since the majority of situations in most anime dating games are from the guys point of view, or at least have situations thought of by men, what would such a game be like if it were made by women? Typically a male story has some form of oogling, hunting, manipulating, physical exertion or taking advantage of others, which are based partly on the male psyche. How would a woman choose to present things, or what would women rather see?
I haven’t run into many H-Games made by women, but I find that Mangas created by them vary…some are romantic and others are strait hardcore sex. Mio Kurokawa does her mangas this way. Her creations range from rape/tentacle themes to romanctic/idealistic stuff.
Hyura Kotna’s manga Barataku(which Pink Pineapple is making into an H-anime) is really hardcore, nothing but sex through the whole book ^_^;; I notice that she makes the females more dominating though.
Of course many of the stories are from the girls view in these books.
That’s the way I’d make a game from a girlz view. hehe

i would actually probably design games similar to the way they are already made, but then again I’m bisexual, so i get a kick out of dominating the women
I think a woman artist works at F and C and Gainax has an adult game written and drawn by women. They even star it it. When Gainax's web site was in english (the diary), one of the women who worked on the project said they wanted to put in a gay love scene.
Does Alice Soft have women working in it?

Probably... there are many women working in the adult industry, as Kumiko said. Not as starlets / idols, either... Kumiko means working as artists, writers, etc. In fact, our Japanese contact with Will was dumbfounded to be told that in the hobby industry in America, it's 95% male dominated. He just cannot imagine such a thing because women are such an integral part of the creative artistic effort in the adult industry in Japan, or just in the hobby industry, in general.
Heck, I was shocked hearing Japanese women are into adult games. The most shocking thing at the time was hearing Mokona Apapa (sp?)was into adult games. But it does explain a lot of things.

What?! Mokona Apapa? The same Mokona Apapa of Clamp fame??? (And from where the white rabbity stuffed thing got its name in Magic Knight Rayearth?) O_o
I also see no reason to be surprised. After all, Mokona is an adult, it is only appropriate that she enjoys playing adult Bishoujo games.
I hope no one thinks playing an adult game somehow despoils an individual’s character.
OK, OK, probably I mis-read. When I read Mokona Apapa was into adult games, I thought she was doing the art for some adult games… Mea culpa… Of course, if she was playing, hey, fine with me.

She no doubt does adult doujin artwork, certainly... even Hayao Miyazaki has done adult versions of his popular characters when asked to do so by fans.
.... It's a little hard to believe that, you know... but if it's Kumi-chan who're saying it, then she can't be wrong

Errrr.... why? Working in the adult industry (drawing adult works) is as "noble" as working in any other industry... It's a job just like another, no more "degrading" than any other...
Not every country/culture in the world associate adult industry with "pornography" with "something degrading you should be ashamed of", you know?

Hmm? I never said that I thought of it as "degrading" or anything like that, I just thought that it sounded kind of strange, since I haven't heard of any hentai-work of any kind created by Miyazaki... But then, again, you can't know everything .
I think we Americans tend to have very pristine images of our idols. If Miyazaki was an American (or even an Englishman), the tabloids would probably be all over him. Enjoying Bishoujos is hardly wrong. Who’s harmed for your personal enjoyment? And, an argument for the overly righteous Christians, I believe the bible speaks out only against adultery, not against sex because it is trying to protect people’s feelings and emotions. I don’t believe we can reproduce asexually yet anyways.
Ii na!

Like I said, I was shocked at the time hearing CLAMP like adult stuff. It also shattered my view of female manga artists. The artist behind "Midnight Panther" is a shojo artist. I always thought shojo artists were meek little things but she showed me.

Not me. I think if she likes adult stuff then so much the better. As long as she isn't killing people and takes their faces.

(The person who told Kumiko about this incident is someone who is Japanese-American and who has contacts in studios like Madhouse. He also mentioned that Miyazaki-san told the kid who asked for the pic not to show it to his mother... Kumiko thinks the pic was of Nausicaa, if she recalls correctly...)
Well, seems like he's at least careful when he's giving his pics to anyone
I’m wondering more about sexual scenes and how women might portray them differently. Is there anything that generally turns off females or doesn’t settle as well with them?
Hmm…well I kinda lost my interest in most of the H-Animes released here cuz of da repetitive monster rape stuff
This is just my opinion…if other gurlz like tenta/monster rape fine, whatever floatz ya boat…

Except... "Monster rape" stuff is only a small minority of what H anime have to propose... Stopping your interest to H anime for that is like stopping anime because "they're all sex&violence"...
I mean... Apparently, presently is the trial time for H anime... With NuTech releasing (going to release) PinPai's very diversified H catalog, it's the time to show we enjoy hentai other than just "monster rape"... just like people showed their interest to shoujo anime some years before. IMO, if PinPai's catalog doesn't work and make its way in the US, we'll then NEVER see adult anime other than "monster rape"... They're probably the best Japanese company in that field, so if they can't succeed...

Ah, sorry. My mistake. Sorry I assumed, but I'm so used to such minset... ^^;;;
