There are a lot of different types if games out there. Whether you would like Brave Soul or X-Change 2 better kind of depends on what you are looking for in a bishoujo game. Brave Soul (in my personal opinion, a better game… but that’s a personal opinion) is more of an RPG–you move through the story, explore a lot of places, ultimately (hopefully) win the love of one of the girls, and (hopefully) save the day. There is not a lot of sex or nudity, relatively speaking. X-Change 2 is more of a comedic sex story. This time, the objective is the girls, and there is a lot more sex and nudity. The story is not very deep by comparison. Both pretty much have good graphics, and I’ll admit that Brave Soul only has partial voice acting. Like I said, it pretty much depends on the type of game you want to get into. Some like the story, some like the girls, some like both.

There are several other sites that sell the games (Peach Princess just happens to be one of the producers). J-List and RightStuf are both distributors, and G-Collections is the other main producer of bishoujo games in the US at the moment. There may be other places to order them from, but those are the only ones I know of off hand.

Well, what yous hould get depends on what you like or what fetishes you have and the like… If you like fantasy or RPG’s, then Brave Soul is where your money should go. If you like comedy or transgender themes, then X-change 1 & 2 are safe bets. If your tastes like more with the dark side of sex like bondage, SM and the like then Gibo might be your best bet. If you’re a romantic and like more romantic stories, then Snow Drop or Little My Maid isn’t too bad choices (LMM isn’t out yet through).

As everyone’s mentioned, it’s all about what you want.

If you want a lot of sex, get XChange 2 or Do You Like a Horny Bunny 1/2.

But there are also games that feature MORE than just sex. Good examples of these include Brave Soul (an RPG) and a bunch of games with a good story: Crescendo, Kana (no voice), Critical Point, and Snow Drop (among others).

Chain has a decent story too. Yeah maybe you should tell us what you are looking for and maybe we’ll give you some suggestions.

If you compare Brave Soul to other “normal” RPGs, you have to go quite a number of years back to find one that is as “primitive” as Brave Soul is. You’ll have to lower you expectations a lot if you’re expecting a Final Fantasy or Baldur’s Gate with sex.

As for the sex scenes, they are in most games simply pictures (called CG), so it’s not like it’s a number of small porn flics included in the game either.

Since you don’t know what you’re looking for, you’ll probably have to try several different ones to find out which type suits you. The ADV genre is the most prevalent one, though the actual length and content can vary a lot.

For starters, I’d reccomend:

Crescendo (low sex content)
Tottemo Pheromone (medium/high sex content)
Critical Point (varies a bit, medium maybe?)
JAST Memorial Collection (a bit dated, 3 games in it)

Kana - Little Sister and Private Nurse are other good buys if you like Crescendo, though they might be a bit heavy to start out with.

If you like Tottemo Pheromone, you might also enjoy the Kango Shicyauzo games, though I personally think TP is better.

There are other good games too, though I think these games are good for introductions. I don’t dare reccommend games like Virgin Roster, Sensei 2 and Tsuki: Possessions to a first-timer, since that might give the wrong impressions about all of these games. I’m not saying you won’t like them, but they might turn you away from these games permanently if you don’t.

As mentioned, while Kana and Private Nurse are great games, starting out with them might set the wrong impression too, but in another way. Crescendo is similar to them, but has a broader range of storylines with varying amounts of emotional content, so it suits first-timers better.

Well, for Brave Soul, think of Diablo 1, but with much more freedom; various quests, sometimes different quests for each playthrough, six different characters to explore, humour, etc... It's defintively a game worth to play, even if it doesn't have the kind of graphics and such that today's games have; it's more like Zelda - A link to the Past, if you know that one...

Well, for most english games, it's often just a couple of CG's with dialouge that changes as the sex scene is ongoing. No video clips, through. At elast not for Peach Princess's games but I know of some japanese gmaes that use video clips. They're seldom used through, since they take time to do and the art quality of a CG is higher than that of a video clip...

Yeah BS is alot like old zelda games if you’ve ever played zelda, secret of mana type games then you will know what BS is like.

Most games don’t have animated sex scenes, some have limited animation in the form of looping graphics, sorta like animated gifs. Zyx is a company that uses this type of animation for some of their games. For the most part games use static CGs.
