I think it depends of the games you offered.
Normally I would say, I buy em all, but because they cost much more than the translated from you, I must think about it if I buy it or not. But if it’s a top game you have nothing to fear…I think, I mean just from my point of view.

I buy a few titles through Himeya every year. (Still Waiting on Viper RSR) I’ll also probably get Hyper Real Action Battle Raper when Illusion releases it.

Well, you did ask. And I presume you’re only interested in my honest opinion. One of the things that always irritated me about IRC was people’s tendency to ignore you when you ask a question they can’t answer, so I’m going to just be frank here.
I would not buy any such product.
I cannot read them, rendering the only purpose in playing them, uh, obvious (and I’m not willing to pay for that alone). Probably they would not even work on my computer. My budget would not permit said expense even if I could fully understand the game in its entirety (with the possible exception of Synchronous Hearts), saying nothing of running it. And finally, playing the game would probably spoil things for me, and spoilers tend to SEVERELY negatively affect my enjoyment of games.
I’m willing to go out of my way to support Peach Princess (you’d probably know that Kumiko, at least more than random board readers), but not quite that far. I’m still a college student, after all.
Hmmm, not being able to fully understand it would be my biggest hesitation. I have gotten a few games that had a simple enough storyline that I was able to figure out what was going on without a translation, but I’m betting I’m not getting the full enjoyment out of it. (And usually in those cases, I was buying them off someone on Ebay, so I still wasn’t going full price on them.)
And the higher price for a game I really don’t get isn’t all that attractive. I’m out of college myself and funds aren’t as much of a problem for me as for some of the others, but I can’t justify to myself paying those amounts for games that I barely can understand. (I could probably get two or three games in English that I don’t understand for the same price… )
If anything, I’d probably buy the titles to support the genre, try to get as much out of it as I can, then probably sell it off sometime.
I bought a couple of games from Himeya a couple of days ago, my reason is to get a wider prospective on this genre and explore it’s variations . I’m currently interested on the 3D games from Tea Time . I really don’t plan to buy that many games though, they’re so expensive . Besides, it takes a lot of my time just to comprehend them, I’m not that good on Kanji yet . Damn whoever invented Kanji !
I don’t think that I would buy those games either… I really don’t have the money to get all of the English translated games that I want yet (I haven’t got X-Change, Adam: The double Factor, Eve: Burst Error and the Viper games yet), also, I wouldn’t understand them either, though I’m learning Japanese so I would probably buy them in the future, but I guess that it would be a while yet.
I’d be interested… I buy 2 or 3 bishoujo games from Himeya per month, so I won’t mind if I get some of my monthly games by PeachPri. Main factor would be the shipping cost… and the games you’re willing to sell. To be honest, Will&Crowd’s games aren’t in my top priority, but I could make an effort if it can help you people…
(BTW, I also don’t mind the difficulty of the Japanese language in the games, nor if you checked if it could work in US systems… I don’t have a US system anyway, and I know I can have it work on my systems…)
i would definately do my best to order any import titles you would offer…the increased cost would be an issue, since i’m not all that financially stable at the best of times, but i would definately buy dokusen or other titles, even if i couldn’t understand them
and people, please remember: peapri is thinknig of doing this to try and finance more english games…don’t think, “gee, i can’t understand them and it isn’t worth it”…instead, think “I get some beautiful game art work, a reason to learn japanese, AND i can support efforts to make these games in english later!”
I would still buy the translated versions of the games I already have, if it comes out just to help the industry here in the U.S. . So keep them comming and I’ll be waiting !

Well, the problem is, without even being able to understand the menu's, it becomes a bunch of trial and error choices. If you can't advance yourself in the story, you might end up looking at the same piece of art work over and over. Granted, it might be a nice piece of artwork but eventually frustration would set in and I'd have to take it out on my co-workers. Wouldn't be pretty. (Okay, so I'm not the happiest smurf at work...)
As for a reason for learning Japanese, I don't really need the games for it. I just want to be able to understand what the heck those Japanese tourists are saying when they look at me and giggle...
Well, since PeachPri would probably only do so for the games which many people would want to play to and buy, we (of this board) would end up being “many” having bought the game. In that eventuality, I think it wouldn’t bother the Japanese-reading people of the BBS to provide some help…
Well, about buying a game entirely in Japanese, I don’t know if I’d do that… What I do enjoy most when playing a bishoujo game is the story and the many details of the story, and if I played a japanese game,then It’d feel a little pointless, since i’d not be able to understand the story nor the details of the story… and morever, if I encountered a part where I have to make a choice, then how would I know which the right choice that I want to make is? No, to me, playing a japanese games would be the very last resort, as long as I can’t understand the language, that’s it…
