Just to be fair... What's your favorite GUY character(s

So now we move on to the guy’s list huh!?
For me, either it is in a game, manga or in an anime, I like a guy character who is: honest with his feelings, loyal to his love, brave & strong (in the sense to protect his girl) and can comfort his girl in the time of needs.

Some of the list of characters would be:
*Kenji from Elf no wakaokusama

*Fujiomi from a manga by Kyoko Hikawa (Haru wo Matsukoro, Pastel Kibun, Gin Iro Ehon)

*Tsuushi from the Kakyuusei TV series is ok

*Recca from Recca no honnou (the way he called his girlfriend hime…so cool)

I have lots of other character but I’ll make the list short.

Ehem…actually I’m a bit of the type of guy explained above and I’m still single

OK, let’s be fair, Kumiko-san did post on the other topic, so here we go.

Instead of favorite male character, I would rather write male characters I admire:

1) Morisato Keiichi (Aa! Megami-sama). Enough said!

2) Terry Bogard (Garou Densetsu): Sure, this is a tough guy, however, unlike, say, Ryu from Street Fighter, he does have emotions. Those who have seen OVA 1 and The Movie, will understand.

3) Fujita Hiroyuki (To Heart-anime)

May I add that the very first SNAG (Sensitive New Age Guy) in Bishojo Gaming scene that I’ve encountered was Hiroyuki from To Heart which basically set the template for the male role in the AOK series.

Mine would have to be Shin from Memories Off only becuase unlike most male characters that are’t you, he’s not a rival and stays clear out of your way =)

Guy characters I liked…

Hmmm. Well I definately have to go with Albert from Desire for one. I really liked how Al started out seemingly not caring, and then going out of his way to help his friends.

I also like Tsuushi from the Kakyusei TV; he was just super keen!

And, if no one minds me putting this here, I like Terry McGinnins from Batman Beyond. As far as American animation is concerned, Terry is quite the developed character.

Overall I like underdogs. I can remember growing up always being told “you can’t do that” and I hated it. So, if a game, anime, or show has an underdog or an every-day-Joe… I really start to like that character.

Rance :-
Big ego,high libido,narcissist ,greedy,cunning jerk who always gets what he wants in the end,be it the girls or the land.but he does have a soft spot for his slave girl,Shiru.Just like his atiitude,don’t ask me why.

Shuu Shirukawa(Super Robot Wars Series) :-
He’s is 20 yr old genius who is cool,cold and calculating who values his freedom highly and can’t stand anyone using him.(“The price for using me…is your life !” from Super Robot Wars Alpha.)Charming person overall.

hey kumiko, just to tease u, i will vote on kato-san[that guy from shusako]! BUT WAIT A MINUTE THERE girl, dont start throwing knifes at me!
i am voting on him just for the new ideas of stalk the girls[damn u have to get guts to put cameras on girl rooms and dont fear the possibility of they discover it], i dont remmember any other game that the evil is controlled by the player, u know? and i like those inovations!

Come to think about it…
Pairing a Cute Girl with a Ugly Beast seems like a perfect combination as it brings out the beauty in the Girl.

Actually,I was thinking more in terms of ugly-guys-and-cute-girls combination in games like Isaku,Syuusaku and BabyFace.

and though Kojiroh of the EVE games is a bastard is some situations, he is very cool !!!

I remember there’s a gay sex scene involving a Bishounen in one of an early game by Janis known as “Graduation Trip”.

It was the only gay scene that I’ve seen in the scene so far.

IIRC, in the ending of True Love (Jast USA?) there is a chance that your buddy from college (remember, they are in college!), that says he love you, before you can call any of the girls.

Well you get that one if your after his sister just before you get an ending you can get a choice to be uurg gay

I really not sure if nocturnal has a gay ending since when i saw the cg of the jap version i saw that programmer guy with the maincharacter in a sort street restaurant but since i didn’t know what was going on i can only guess

Hmmmmmmm…I doubt that Nocturnal illusion promulgates male homosexuality, especially when I am not a rabid fan of any disconcerting type of sodomy…Besides, I already finished the game.
Anyhow, I recall something about a man in the guise of a pink-haired beauty. If I am correct, I think he/she is one of the character of May Club. His/her name is probably Hiromi…My certainty is quite doubtful at this moment, so…
Anyway, I prefer to take the role of a nice, romantic guy whose perversion does not necessarily have a firm grip on his personality…like the protagonist in the game of Season of Sakura and Kira of the game Gloria. v :slight_smile:
