oh… I thought it was because of the censorship law thing.

That might be one of the justifications for it, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact they don’t want their own ‘home companies’ to be undersold.

It's not so much that it's illegal because they passed a law, as that G-collections' contracts with the Japanese creators are going to specify "no selling to Asian countries".

Still within the law though, the contract being a legally binding item, and if every or almost every game company that contracts outside Japan has that built into the contracts as standard is that not almost the same as a law?
