… Just what are they? I mean, it’s quite clear that Alicia is a Priestess, Ruby a thief, Carrol a magician and so on… But Marine and Carrol, just what are they? I’d guess that Marine is either a warrior or a shaman, and from the looks of Karen, she is something of a sage, or? Someone who knows?
Okay I’ve never played the game and I can’t read Japanese but from what I can figure this is how it works:
Alicia: Priestess
Carrol: Mage
Marine: Freed Slave? Submissive comic relief?
Ruby: Thief
Karen: Marksman (spoiled girl with a firearm instead of a more traditional fantasy weapon)
If anyone has actually played the Japanese version or can read the Crowd page feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
Marine’s a…spearwoman, maybe? I dunno, it’s all a crapshoot.
I’d say Marine is a tribal type hunter and Karen is a wannabe bounty hunter. I haven’t seen a page with a clear cut job desc but maybe it’ll come clear once you play the game…

It’s written in the artbook… I think.

Now, now, that spoils the fun! After all, it gives you additional incentive to go out and get the artbook yourself. (Not that you really should need the extra incentive.) Sigh. I just wish I could read what's written in the LMM artbook...
Well I didn’t even know there was an artbook. After reading the post here I check the Peach Princess Bishoujo Merchandise Product section and didn’t see any artbooks. I don’t think the site is very well organized in that respect. I did finally find it by going to the game and noticing it’s in the little “Related Item(s)” section but upon click the link I also noticed the “Note: Japanese text only for game hints, etc.” so I’m still not sure it’s worth $35 to me. I guess I’ll have to wait till I get the game and make my decision from there. From the sounds of it though it doesn’t look like there will be any left by them but I just can’t convince myself to spend > $20 on an art book for a game I haven’t even played yet.

*sigh* You mean that if you revealed what Marine and Karen are, it'd spoil parts of the story? Well, if so, I guess that nothing can be done about it, except buying the artbook myself or simply wait until the gmae is released in an unknown amount of time (Through I'd say that if everything goes well, Peach Princess's next game might be released in half a year or something like that)

Beats me since I can't actually read the Japanese. But I mean, the LMM artbook gave a bunch away in spoilers just from the images themselves. And you never know what will spoil things for one person, I mean I figured out most of Desire from non-spoiler posts here. My friend taught me a bunch about symbolism and foreshadowing that my mind tends to sometimes figure out endings and secrets ahead of time. (I really did figure out the "big ending" to The Sixth Sense in the middle of the film, which sucked because it sort of spoiled the film for me...)
As for the artbook itself, I'm guessing the artbooks got moved about with the reorganization of the products that seems to be going on. It's a personal choice about getting it though. I mean, I didn't even think about it when I saw the LMM artbook at the local comic store, I just had to get it...

Well, they're not written in the artbook. It "only" tells where you met the girls, their age, height, 3 sizes, like/dislike, personnality, events (and condition to happen), sub-missions, all monsters stats and equipment... And beautiful CGs of course. ^_-
Sorry I was wrong...

No, don't do that. I don't think most monasteries will allow pretty girl activities!

No crud. I saw it in a store and looked at the cover. Then I looked at the back cover. ^^; Oh well, it hasn't diminished my yearning to play the game at least. ^^

I think Marine is a cross between an elf and a cat girl.
Karen is err … someone trying to escape her dull monotonous life.

I won't practice them, I would only play them i.e. I think monasteries would allow playing computer games. No? Really? Drat.
I agree with the others, don’t enter a monaster!! Unless you’re “lucky” enough to encounter that monastery that poor guy in Monthy Pythons “The Holy Grail” did .
I don’t think you’d be able to play games there, through, since monks are known for trying to rid themselves of all “worldly” things, and they’d count a computer as an “worldly” thing, I’m afraid
And don’t worry about your mistake We all make mistakes.

Oh wait, does the “cult of bishoujo” have a monastery? That might work!
