Okay, that makes more sense now. In general, I do expect the worst but hope for the best. But with LMM, after waiting for it for the past couple years, my guesses for a release date have just gotten more and more vague. Since I'm pretty sure PeaPri will be at ComicCon, I figured that was a nice general maximum date...

Mid-Ohio ComicCon takes place in Columbus, Ohio, Usually on the weekend of Thanksgiving.
Here's the website:

err…I think the comicon peapri regularly attends is at San Diego CA, and it’s at around july/august of every year…not the ohio one

well… i agree about gibo’s tempt. release date…

LMM… according to me? around Q3 2004… perhaps Q4… (it’s the opinion of someone who ordered it the first week of may 2001… with my order # was lower than 1250 so i know why i don’t keep high hopes…)

That "hohoho" is making me nervous. Are you sure you can get it out before the end of the world? I'll have to see if I can pencil you in...

Actually, anyone from Hawaii would be more correct. Hawaiians are a distinct ethnic group, but it's more than just them eating the spam over here...

If anyone's really interested, here's the main website for Comic-Con International:
http://www.comic-con.org/ It'll be July 22-25 this year. Hopefully I'll finally be able to make it this time around...

Thank you for the link.

That’s what I ment when I said hawaiian bunch of my relatives there has too much of a fascination for spam for my tastes oh BTW just found out hawaii is spelled hawai’i at least that’s how UH was spelled during their game here in cali. so now is hawaiian spelled hawai’ian?

Ick… spam. Hawaii does indeed eat the most spam of any state in the US, but not all of us like it.

To be honest, I have no idea how the okina is supposed to be used. Technically speaking, it looks like a 180-degree flipped apostrophe, so it’s drawn like the number 6.

I personally don’t care, but I’ve met some people that seem to feel quite strongly about it and must have it correct when they use MS Word. (I used to work as student computer technical support at UH.)

Anyway, it’s not too often that I have something I want to say. Just my two cents.

Some people are just like that. If you really want me to find out about the okina, I can ask my cousin, she teaches Hawaiian language for a living…

But just like the spellings, some people are very touchy on how you use the term “Hawaiian”, and that’s what I was getting at wanfu2k1-san. Because it’s an ethnic group, you don’t use “Hawaiian” to mean “people from Hawaii”. With quite a number of half-Hawaiian cousins, I learned quite early that refering to myself as “Hawaiian” is a good way to get my butt kicked…

Gawd, I had wondered about that, there are recipes for 'Hawaiian Spam Burger' quite literally at any Spam enthusiast webpages.
I apologize if people are a little sensitive when it comes to the subject of spam. I just thought such speculation is premature.

Heh quite undestandable as some hawaiian are quite big

So that's what they call that wierd apostraphe . So is it suppose to be a pause when you hit it like an apostrphe or does it change the sound of the letter? Heh getting hawai'ian lessions in a Bishoujo game forum...who knew

It’s a pause. A “glottal stop”, whatever that means. It doesn’t change the sound. (There’s another symbol called “kahako” which indicates an elongated vowel.) In “correct” Hawaiian spelling, you include those symbols.

Actually, when I started learning Japanese formally, I think being able to pronounce Hawaiian names and words made the pronounciation of Japanese easier. (We won’t go into my comprehension of Japanese…) The smattering of Japanese in local “pidgin” English also helps a bit.
