Little My Maid!

Yeah, ok, everybody recieved the LMM update, but nothing wrong with making a new thread about it, is it?

p.s. minus me because Lycos send the newsletter to the spam bin, and I had to rescue it from there

quote:

We’ve received several emails asking about Little My Maid, and we wanted to
give you an update on its progress. The game is being actively tested and
worked on by the programmers in Japan, and we’re pushing very hard for them
to quickly give us a working beta that we can begin final testing on. The
game is working in English, but we’re not sure how much of the preliminary
testing has been done on it at this point. Unfortunately, the First Rule of
translating Japanese love-sim games to English is, be at peace while
waiting for the programmers to get their jobs done. Game programmers in
Japan have a full schedules of new Japanese games to work on, and must work
on our projects in between their own game releases. Unfortunately, the
delays on Little My Maid are carrying over to Gibo, but we expect Gibo to
be an easy port after LMM is released.

Ah, LMM must be mine, perhaps, that march 2003 date from rightstuf isn’t so far off?

Make it happen PP!!!

LMM is my most wanted game after Slave Bazaar…i really hope it comes out soon…come on japanese company people! work work work!!! don’t make me picket outside YOUR offices too

I’m really looking forward to this game too. Hopefully it will come out soon.

I’m currently waiting for 4 games to come out: Little My Maid, Brave Soul, X-Change 2, and Private Nurse.

Oh, so it's March 2003 now? Truly fascinating... Perhaps, they are going to announce it for April 2003 in the next month, right?

I think, we should only rely on the information, the PeaPri-newsletter gives us. At least, we know from that one, that the work on LMM still contnues and has not been stopped. Obviously, the project has not yet reached a degree of completion, that allows to make any assumptions about the date, when the work is finished (especially, if important members of the project could be called off to another higher priorized project anytime).

Ah, wake up, Unicorn! I think we might was well forget that possibilty... So far they've promised to bring us three games the next year (XC2, Brave Soul and Doushin), and that I might believe, but four...? That sounds almost too good to be true.

But even so, it's very good to hear that the work on LMM is not standing still .

BTW, about a minor thing in LMM… Have you noticed that Mayu-chan has green wrist-ribbons and bows? This makes her outfit look kind of odd, since it doesn’t fit with the rest of her clothes… Hina-chan uses blue ribbons and Mari-chan uses red ribbons, but those colors fits with their outfit, but in Mayu’s case, it’s another story… strange… Were the artist thinking about seaweed when they were deciding what colors her ribbons would be?

I think they were trying to have 3 different colors on purpose. not sure , but probably correspond to the three different colored bells

Hmm, that's true that she may be color blind, but still, I wonder if anyone wouldn't have told her that, in that case... ^^;.

Ps. I think Mayu-Chan still looks very cute in her green ribbons. And not to mention just a cute without them as well

She's still veryvery very cute, alright, but the green ribbons jsut look strang eon her!. *sigh* When will be be playig Little Lemon maids... No! I meant Little My Maid!

Spec, depending on how early LMM comes out next year we could potentially have 5 games come out with Gibo.

Ugh, I hate to sound like a cynic, but I think that's too much to except ^^;. I think that at best, if we're really lucky, we'll see four games next year, but we need to have the devil's own luck if we want to get five games ^^;. And at best, we'll see at least three games. In a worst case scenario, through, we'll just see two games next year. How many games we may see depends, as always, on various circumstances and such. For example, what if there was a couple of unexcepted bugs encountered in Brave Soul that takes longer time thna excepted to finish? Or what if the work of LMM goes so slowy that it'll take another year before we see that? Or what if there's so many problems in the making of the english version of Doushin that it has to be delayed another year too? As much as I'd like to see 5 games out this year, I think that's kind of too much to hope for ^^;. But in a best case scenario, four games will be out next year (and LMM and Brave Soul will be among those *bouncebouncebounce*), and that's much better than just 2 games ^__^.

Hmm, if 5 games were released next year, I wonder hoe many titles there's left for PP to do after that? I think... Just two Guilty titles and a Sweet Bsail title: Used Condom+Newscaster Mariko and then LMM: Pandora's box... Or did I forget something?

I’m really looking forward to Little My Maid… Does it run on the same engine as Snow Drop? I’m hoping it does 'cause I want to make sure it will work on my system… Tokimeki Check-in and X-Change won’t work at all, but Snow Drop engine games work fine (Snow Drop and Critical Point both work).

What was that other game that I was looking forward to? It had themes called “Take on your Will” and “Ride” in it, and it was by Crowd… I’m sure someone here should remember the name of it. I think it was a very long way off in the future though if it ever gets translated into English.

Eeeeehm! Quote again: "... if 5 games ..." Who told me to stop dreaming?

But at least you forgot to count in our all beloved and dearly missed SLAVE BAZAAR!
Do you want to take the wrath of our goddess?

Hmm, don't know which game you're talking about, but so far there's four games by Crowd that PP hasn't ported or brought the rights to yet, and those are: Yaiba, Miss You, Obbligato and OMnY. There's two more games, but I think those are too old now to get be bought by PP. Anyway, do you rmeember anything special about the game you're talking about? If yu gave away a few more pointers, I might know which game you mena... But think of this: Miss You and Obbligato are more romantic comedies, while Yaiba and OMnY is dark games. So if the gmae you were thinking of looked like a light game, then it must be Obbligato or Miss You.

I did . But what I meant is rather this: The chance of seeing five games next year might not be zero, but it's not much of a chance anyway, or so it seems, so there's not much point in hoping for that *sad smile*

KYAA! I'm terribly sorry, I'm terribly sorry, My Goddess! Don't giv me the Bishoujo Curse!

Correction: One Ruf-game, one Sweet Basil-game and two Guilty games: Slave Bazaar, Pandoras's box and Newscaster Mariko+Used Condom. Sigh, I'm going to have big problems when Used Condom gets out...

Well, I didn't say April 2003 would be the last date, Rightstuf is going to offer for LMMs release. Perhaps, LLM will be even earlier?

I wanted to express my doubts, regarding any dates, Rightstuf announces without asking PeaPri in the first place.

. Well, who knows? Anyway, if a beta's beig worked on and might be done not too far off in the future, then it's at least not impossible that we might see a release of LMM in 2003.

But you're right about Rightstuf, they shouldn't just change release dates like that. I suspect that people who's ordered LMM will start to get irritated soon, since the release date have been changing constantly for about 3 years or something like that now.

Ah, BTW, last night I managed to get Kyoka's Best ending in Snow Drop ^_^. I have to say that I like her best ending more than Shizuka's ending too. And besides that, their sex scene in the bath was quite funny! . But it was kind of strange to hear Kyoka speak like a Lolicon character (Kind of, anyway; "Aww, Minoru saw the most embarrasing thing I've done in my life, he saw me pee! Now I can never go out with any other guys...". Now, I just have to find a Keika ending or something like that (two of her CG's are still missing), then I think that I've finailly finished Snow Drop .

It was a light game and it wasn't either of those. Peach Princess even had a demo of it on their site a while ago. I have it on CD somewhere... I'll have to check what it was.

Either way though, I'm doubting very much that it will run on my system if it's released anyway.

Hmm, are you SURE that you aren't talking about either Brave Soul or Doushin (Synchronous Hearts), then? Those are the only so-far not released Crowd Games that PP have shown the demos of...

I hope so, but I couldn't even read that annoucement from the last newsletter. In fact they are only telling they are still on the job and making some progress instead of throwing in the towel. (And that are very good news IMHO)

Exactly my thoughts regarding the monthly LMM-news from Rightstuf

Well, there is no real Keika-ending, because Keikas main objective is to make some wrong tracks that lead away from the "real" endings. But if you follow all wrong directions (read: have as much encounters with Keika, as possible), you'll find the missing pictures in the end.
(I did this first because Keika was my first target when I got the game. Perhaps, you are missing the not-H-scene from the last days evening, where she lectured Minoru and gave me the first important clue for finding the real endings?)

Yep, at least we knows that they arenh't slacking off . But some progress is better than no progess at all, I suppose (Just like me and math ^^

^_^;.... Hmm, to be honest, I don't know if it could fit into that category.Since they're only a couple right now (boyfriend and girlfriend as the script says), and they're only discussing about having a kid one day. That makes it sound like it'd fit into the "Happy relationship" category instead (or whatever that category should be called...) . Oh, and BTW, that was, or so I throught, a kind of strange ending too, with Shizuka now being a part of Kyoka...

Hmm, I don't think so, but it might be. But is so, a few scenes are still missing, because that I got the scenes where she "lectures" Minoru and tells him that it is for the sake of her sister. But i think that the "H II" is the part that is missing. I'll have to check it. But in any case, encountering Keika as much as I can should solve the problem... I hope. ¨Well, shchool's over for today, so see ya tomorrow *off I go to get home and play some more Snow Drop and some other things ^_^*
