Spectator, I need your email address. Your email account needs to be able to accept attachments as well. If not your home PC, then you'll need a way to be able to transport the files. Just email me and I'll send them to you.

Sending them as I write this. They're in the Zip Folder attached to the message.

Hello SB-san.

Have you visited GA-Graphics-collections (http://www.zdnet.co.jp/gamespot/ga/) lately?
They have now a nice wallpaper of a catgirl-maid up.

I think, you should be interested in this…

Well, seems liek it's two girls there, not one . Very cute, but I like the wallpepers where just one cat-girl is shown better, I think .). But it seems like I can't enlarge them?

The two-girls wallpaper is new. I got the other wallpaper in higher resolution as it was still up. If you email me, I'll send it back to you in 1024x768.

I'll do that . Also, welcome back! (this is your first post in a few days, right?)

Well, I have no access to the web on weekends, so I posted nothing on saturday and sunday.

Yesterday, I had to face the new developments (particularly the post of Absolutist, eh, Agressopr, ehm, Absurdist).
After this, I felt that the atmosphere here had a bit worsened and I did not feel to post anything yesterday. I also think about making a sayonara popst, if this keeps up.

I have to give him credit about the fact that he is new and he has some guts to make right from the start such a ruckus with a post, that targets to let us all and the PeaPri staff in particular look like morons, that never thought about these tings before (on the other hand not that much guts, if you consider that most of his personal information in the profile is left blank and he might hide behind his pseudonym, that has no relation to his realworld-self).

So, at least, I am not this sure, if I want to welcome him here. The less, after he had to point out his arian lineage combined with his german nationality. If he starts to talk about the superiority of the arian race about all others, I think, I am going to ignbore him completely or ask lamuness to cancel either my or his account on this board.

Phew. At least, it felt good, to get this now off my chest.

Don't make a sayonara post! We'd miss your all greatly... And don't be too harsh ont he newbie too; when I first came here, I made a few post similar to that, and if I was a newbie right now, I'd probably ask those questions too and go heavy in for it in some subjects ^^;.

Newbies who come here often just doesn't know about most of the facts that wee alredy know about. How long have you and I been here? About half an year for me, and I don't rmember exatly when you joined, but... we've been here long enough to know most about the enlish market, the situation of Peach Princess, the attitude of the Japanese comapnes,a nd so on. Newbies don't know this and will therefore in most cases make some bold statemnts and such. Besides, most newbies calm down once they know about the facts, so why feel bad about it? And no matter how many bold statements there is, newbies are still important here

Don't worry! I did not say "I am going to", but "I am thinking about".

Even if I'd quit my active existence at this board, I'd keep in touch via eMail with some nice persons, I have met here. Also, I almost likely would start again lurking in the background, until things have changed here for the better. (I already did this starting last year in october until I finally registered this year in may).

Hmm, sometimes these things happen. Although we’re bishoujo fans, there’s bound to be some conflicts. I know there are one or two people on this board I’m still rather pissed off at. (Not that I think they know that.) But taken in context, this is still one of the better boards I’ve been to and it’s worth the effort to stay relatively active. (And if I do need the agravation, I’ll hang out on GameFAQs more often.)

Spectator Beholder-san is also right about people when they first start posting. I think this board has done well in educating people about what goes on in the bishoujo genre and some of the problems it faces. So far, I think the other thread has been handled well by most of the regulars. We’ll see if it escalates but it should be alright for now at least.

Good to know that you at least aren't leaving for good .

But I still hope that you won't become "just a lurker" . Who'd make me make all those "bounchy bone" spelling errors, then?

just keep in mind Unicorn, that when i first joined this board, i asked the same questions and made the same suggestions…

and now i have a website trying to correct all those misconceptions don’t you leave…i’ll curse you

How do you mean, worsened? In what way? It got more preachy around here temporarily, mostly due to me...but that was an honest attempt to educate someone so he wouldn't make the same naive assumptions about marketing and game viability and the like that I once did and apparently a lot of others did.
That's sort of an ad hominem attack, and not really called for. You will note I have done the same. (Oh, right. You're German, you may not use the same Latin phrases regularly. Ad hominem is a specific kind of logical fallacy where you attack the person and not the argument.)

That said, that sort of miffed me a little bit too. He did seem to come off like he thought we had no idea what we were doing; but I am willing to pass that off as him having limited experience because I've put my foot in my mouth worse before and been totally innocent of any intent to insult. This also seems to be a pretty common theme if you read game design websites--people get emails like this all the time with well-meaning suggestions from someone with a passing familiarity with a topic.
