Well, I noticed that as well. But it was vaguely worded enough that it may have simply been a description; I've called people black before because there was a black guy standing with a group of white guys and it was the simplest description available, in spite of the fact that in the US white vs black has been a bitterly divisive issue throughout our history. (For the non-US inhabitants...white enslavement of blacks caused our civil war, among other really foul things that are a whole other subject.)

But we are agreed. If he starts spouting white supremacist stuff, he's history.

It's a bit difficult to explain.
First of all, it was more a feeling (or impression), than something, I clearly noticed from reading a passage in a specific post. Maybe, your preaching added to the impression as well, but was not the only thing, that gave me this.

Even if you did not, maybe some of the others would have taken offense, without telling me. I think, apologizing in public is the least I can do, if I realize I did a bad mistake.
