Lolicon might just have got dangerous

Fictional lolicon is still safe in Japan. I’m sure everyone already agrees that the real child porn had to go:

Now then… let the eroge flood begin. \o/

Yes, but do you know the military term, buffer zone? An area that we don’t care for that protects areas that we do care for. While what you listed is a good thing, it also means that we lost one of our buffer zones. What buffer zones do we have left, or will we start to lose territory that we do care about?

I understand what you’re saying, but real child porn is morally reprehensible and fundamentally devoid of all merit. While it’s a buffer zone loss our opponents will use to encroach on eroge, it could never have been defended without justifying one of the most evil aspects of humanity, and reducing ourselves into defending actual child abuse and sexual exploitation of a minor.

We’ve been arguing that fictional loli ero harms no real children. That hasn’t changed. The other side has to prove that fictional loli ero harms real children. They can’t, because it doesn’t. The weight of every scientific study on similar subject matters (like D&D promoting Satanism back in the 80’s or violent video games promoting murder in the 90’s) backs our claim. We’re not guilty of anything… and anyone who says otherwise is lying or manipulating the truth.

So far, everyone who’s been seriously convicted of possessing loli ero and going to jail – at least in the United States – has also been in possession of real child porn. Some have given into legal pressure and settled out of court, but no “pure loli ero with no real child porn” case has ever gone to the Supreme Court for ultimate judgement. Furthermore, it’s rather telling that the Justice Department hasn’t gone full bore against porn videos featuring actresses like Kitty Jung or Amai Liu. They’ve released vids where they pretend to be underaged girls. If anything would go first, it would be that… so I would argue that’s where we draw a real line to fight over. However I don’t think the Justice Department thinks they could win that kind of case (since no crime was committed in their filming), which is why it hasn’t happened.

As for that Virginia case I mentioned looooong time ago… as someone pointed out to me once, Virginia also once ruled that interracial marriage was immoral… and currently rules that homosexual marriage is immoral. So Virginia claiming cartoon porn is immoral, doesn’t mean anything except Virginia is still in the ultra conservative stone age. Supreme Court will bitch slap some sense into them eventually. Also all that Snowden stuff, with actual proof the US government spies on it’s own citizens and monitors our electronic information illegally, has stolen a lot of thunder from their cyber crime cowboys.

Oh, I wasn’t defending it. I was just wondering what our buffer zones were. In terms of RL porn actresses, like Kitty Jung, hasn’t Australia banned that? Unless it was repealed or something, but the last time I checked, in Australia, any porn involving perfectly legal women with a bust size of B or lower counts as “child porn”.
